In the game, participants pick the winners of all main draw matches and are placed in a knock-out system. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the winner of most matches correctly, moves on to the next round. The same applies for doubles, but you're in a team format and your scores are combined.
Note:
- In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will decide who moves on to the next round.
- In case a player (i.e. the actual ATP Player) retires in a match, this match will be counted as long as one point has been played. If players are replaced by a lucky loser after the start of Tennis Tipping, these matches will be cancelled.
How to Sign-Up:
Just post here that you would like to play. You can only play one tournament per week. Entries will be based on ranking. Everyone can commit.:)

How to send in picks:
Picks can be sent in as soon as the draws are ready. Remember, you pick a winner in every match! Picks should be sent by PM, so that your opponent does not know your picks. Picks should be titled: [TT: ?, day #]. Picks can be sent in anytime until the beginning of play each day. If you're still in both singles & doubles, you use the same tips for both. For doubles, you still tip the ATP singles matches, not the doubles! No changes can be made after the play has started.

I'd recommend that a few of the ALT's are PM'd soon-ish - because they might commit to an event the same week.
I suffered from a similar situation in WTF doubles this week, due to withdrawals my team became the No 1 ALTs, but because we'd commited to a challenger event for the same week not thinking we'd stand a chance of getting in - the draw for the challenger was made two days before the event started - we saw we were now No 1 ALTS but we weren't allowed to exit the minor event to play in Bali because we were in a challenger draw. (not sure if rules are the same in MTF).

It is a pity the commitment deadline here is AFTER the deadline for the regular challengers. Who from the potential Alts will risk committing here and then finding the top 16/top 8 all commit, so he is too late to play anywhere else.
I see that Ilovetheblues_86 is taking the gamble in singles, so good luck to him. I'm not going to take a chance.
It is different for the WTF in London, because Alts there have nothing to lose.

Martin, GREAT WORK!! Love the profiles and head to head. :lol: I have played against my doubles partner but not with him and possibly only the once when he beat me in Guayaquil Final last year. Seeing Adder A216 and geangr not playing together this year either was funny. I am sure that geangr/MuriloBrasil must have played together, and I recently played with Adder. So with that loss, Martin's partnership with me will come to an end :sad:(After Toyota,i dont think i will get time to write off next week).Thanks to him for such a long term partnership.We had some fruitful wins and bitter losses as well.
I still can remember the way we started our partnership.I just posted "Doubles with someone" and voluntarily he confirmed for that tourney :hug: and then onwards i started liking him and here we are in the top -100 in doubles.
Unfortunately he is thinking for a change which i didnt like and there is no means of arguing in any kind of relationship(be it a love between a girl n boy,mom and dad,bro and sis,newly married ones,and yeah even gays).So without making any noise,i accepted his proposal to break the partnership.
I hope he do well in the forthcoming season (with whoever he is playing)and :yeah: all the very best for his studies in London ,be a :rocker: Mate.
If possible i will try to get a player like Martin,Nah a human like Martin :bowdown:,and if not hmmm probably i will quit playing Tennis Tipping in MTF.:wavey: Martin

Even before the results: time to make a balance for the season.
I started playing because of a friend of mine (Tuvalu), who got through the qualies at the AO and became very excited about the game. He stopped playing soon after, and I carried on.
I still remember my first good run, in a "home" Challenger in Santos, where I got through qualies to stop at QF. I think then I decided I would take this game seriously. I sticked to a plan: playing only Challengers, except for what would be "home" ATP tournaments and the GS. So I played qualies in RG, Wimbledon, USO, Stuttgart (I was living nearby) and Paris (I'm still living here :) ). But I'm still to play my first ATP match in a MD.
All in all, I'm happy with my season. I got my first title (Astana 2), I'll probably finish the season in the top 100 (which was the very ambitious target I had). Next year I'll go for some ATP qualies and play only the Challengers where I defend good results. Maybe, if I have time (which is close to impossible), I'll even try my hand at managing or work on some automation tools for managers.
