Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins prevail in a champions tiebreak after a match that saw one of their opponents roll his ankle during the second set (according to Judy Murray on twitter). This is their first tour-level title as a team and is Fleming's second St. Petersburg title after he first won there with Ken Skupski in 2009.

Great Britain now has 9 ATP tour-level titles to its name in 2011 (compared to a total of 4 in 2010), behind only the USA (23, 24 if the Bryans win in Vienna), Serbia (15, 16 if Tipsarevic wins in St. Petersburg) and Spain (14). Three of these nine titles were won without the help of Andy Murray, so who said he's our only hope? :)

When the rankings are released tomorrow Fleming & Hutchins will have entered the top 20 of the doubles team rankings for the first time.

They will now move on to play in Basel, where they're up against Swiss wildcards Stéphane Bohli and Marco Chiudinelli in the first round. Should both teams reach the semi-finals, we could be set for an all-British match between Fleming/Hutchins and Murray/Murray.
