Jarkko Nieminen, made a couple QF runs at the slams. I guess that's an accomplishment for Finland?

Moominen, Neeminen, Eeminenen, Nemmenen etc... I wonder why name "Nieminen" is a huge obstacle for people in this forum? If players name is Mr Mxyzptlk! they can get that right, but Nieminen is just too difficult.

Really? It's practically impossible to escape the bad commentator puns about him 'finishing' matches. :o

Wozniacki

Israel has produced quite a few good players, AndyYoni of course; someone mentioned Younes and also I would say Baghdatis for sure.

Future RG champion Santiago Giraldo, Gilles Muller of Luxembourg ()

Gulbis, Kubot, Dimitrov, Berankis...

Niemenen might well be Swedish, because it sure isn't a name anyone has in Finland.

You don't have to look beyond the young guns. Berankis (Lithuania), Dimitrov (Bulgaria) and Raonic (Canada) are all from nations that aren't especially known for tennis. In fact, all three already hold the record for being the highest ranked male of all time from their respective countries.

Dont get ahead of yourself, they haven't proved anything yet.

If Nieminen is mentionned, i would like to mention Pavel.

Any word with a series of m's and n's people find difficult to spell. It's an interesting phenomenon (;)).

he should be. We need him in DC. But he talks great swedish too, played in the swedish league a little, often trains in Stockholm.

Only way to tell he's finish is his number of runner-up titles
