first ATP match of the day in Moscow, why wasn't it televised? ;)

Big win for Chardy

Ugh. :(
So, as this match wasn't televised as far as I know - has Chardy suddenly remembered how to play tennis again, or are those rumours I keep on reading about Dolgo indeed true? Plonker! :fiery:

(yes, I am disgruntled. Congrats however, Jérémy.)

Dolgopolov :hysteric: So bad and overrated and overranked and overhyped

people will say wtf but jeremy has been serving bombs this indoor hard season and dolgo is just too inconsistent right now to sustain a positive string of results. Good win and not unexpected imo.

Dolgopolov :haha:
He knows one or two things about inconsistency.

seems like jeremy has picked the end of the season to be the time to play good tennis again

chardy seriously has to be one of the most frustrating players to follow..and this is coming from a fan of kohli

I seems that people don't read around here.

Every time Dolgo travels continents, he gets fatigued because of his blood disease! Especially when it's from east to west.

That is very overplayed.

Yup we all know about his disease, recently I read that it was called Gilbert syndrom.

Why doesn't he play fewer tournaments and get their a few days before the tournament?

Dolgo is certainly the most overrated on this forum....he only won a single tourney in his career and some members think he's God

That would appear to be a sensible thing to do with his condition.
In other words, the excuse isn't valid, if it's the traveling that bogs him down, he and his team should take measures to avoid the problems as much as they can.

dolgo had 6 days to get ready for this match. That should be enough to acclimate to the conditions. He just isn't playing well, period.

Hm, losing to Chardy looks a feat worthy of overreaction.

Well looking on the bright side it could have been Golubev..

Stop being random Dolgo.

Saw the 2nd set.
Chardy was ok, Dolgo was atrocious. Surprisingly, the only element that seemed working for Dolgo was his serve, there even was one hold to love with aces only. Near the end of the match there was an overrule by the empire(no challenge system installed of course),Dolgo was pissed, broke his racket, eventually lost the match and didn't shake hands with the empire.

:o Mugdopolov

Sad to see talented player lose to this french ballbasher. Moscow is turning into a clown event, as if it wasn't that in the first place :o:zzz:

Great win for Jeremy, with his serve, he should be able to be effective indoors, and he can do everything else well enough where he can break a couple of times and win matches. Dolgo is inconsistent, not overly great on indoor hard, is susceptible to being overpowered, and this result is no surprise. The sick excuse is becoming dramatically overused. He's not sick every time he loses nor every time he travels, and he himself would not want his sickness used as an excuse.

The only disease Mugopolov has is a poorly functioning brain, and I'm not sure if you can cure that :o Not like he was going to win here anyway, this is Moscow and there's money to be made.

Exactly. Cheap excuse that is

It's not like it's unwarranted suspicion - he was sick from Miami all the way through the clay season.

Chardy seems like a good prospect, Slams are coming his way.

Dolgopolov should retire soon, he's already getting old in tennis years.

No, seriously annoyed Dolgo lost this one. Even more annoying due to where I am right now I can't even see any of the damn tennis. Ho hum.
