H2H is even at 3-3

hopefully Berdych can dismantle Lopez like how he did against Mugdasco in Beijing :cheerleader:

Lopez is ill and won't be in bed before 2 AM. Otherwise I would have given him a fair chance...

He's sick? I saw people talking about it, were the commentators saying it? Hope Feli feels better soon and at least does better than his ex did last week.

Lopez with a hangover and a cold and he'll still win 8 more games than Verdasco did last week.

Best lefty serve on tour. Muller being the second.

Berdych in 2.

I believe Berdych gained a lot of confidence last week so this should be a routine job for him.
He has a chance in a lifetime to finally record a win against Nadal here.

They will make beautiful babies on court together be but big Berd will end up on top.

I'm looking at the OOP on the Shanghai website, it said Lopez already won with a walkover....

http://www.shanghairolexmasters.com/English/game/racing/live/13.html

is it an error?

Yeah and just a mistake on the tournament's half.

Would seem weird given the way he played today to withdraw now, if he's sick or anything it just wouldn't make sense considering he's on tomorrow night so still a lot of time to recover to a decent state if that's the case.

Feluckiano is in QF... okay.

Berdych   Jason

if its food poisoning he'd need more time then what he'd have to be okay

TOMAS BERDYCH (CZE) (7) vs. BYE

Li Ching Yuen

I think there's a retirement in that match but it's not Berdych. Lopez has a nasty cold and you could've seen that after his win over Boggo when he gave his bag to his physio and walked out straight through the gates to his hotel, was probably having the chills that late in the evening.

Certinfy
10-12-2011, 09:19 PM
This is hilarious :haha:

Doubt we'll get an official word until the morning though.

Actually I think they copied the data from today's OOP for tomorrow's which could explain why the last match on CC has a RET.

Strange to retire (or withdraw should i say) so early before the match...

If that turns out to be true, where is the LL rule that should have been used?

LuckyVolcano

I wonder what happened to Berdych.

What a mess. In my opinion they should both withdraw so BYE would make a masters QF. He really needs the points.

Many people on twitter are saying that Berdych pulled out and Feli is into the QF's.
http://twitter.com/#!/RFETmultimedia seems pretty reliable

Berdshit probably got drunk and had a lot of sex with Kvitova after winning a title, don't expect him to be playing proper tennis until 2012 :o

This whole situation is hilarious. I'm betting Lopez is the one that really pulled out of the match.
