Who Will End The Year Highest Ranked: Berdych, Tsonga, or Fish.

Given Soderling is pretty much done for the year you would have to think once his Paris and WTF points come off all 3 of these guys will be firmly ahead of him.

Anyway all 3 are pretty close in the rankings and race so it should be a good fight for the end year no.6 spot and maybe even the no.5 spot if they can do really well in Shanghai and Paris.

I think Tsonga will, he just seems to be more consistant than the others and is more likely to beat higher ranked players.

Berdych is in by far the best form at the moment, and has a great chance of reaching the finals in Shanghai.

Got the hardest draw possible though I think :help:

R2: Stepanek
R3: Tipsarevic
QF: Nadal

Considering Tipsarevic and Nadal own him I guess I just hope he makes the QF and anything from there onwards is a bonus. :)

Seeing their form... I must vote for Berdych. :p

In YTD ranking he has about 700 points disadvantage. It seems too lot momently.

Even though I don't really dislike Simon, I never want to see him in the YEC again.

OT: It's between Berdych and Tsonga.

I'm sure Federer would be happy if Simon doesn't qualify.

I'm guessing it will be Berdych ahead of the other two. Fish self-destructed against Nadal and I think that's going to carry over to this week as he puts more pressure on himself to make London.

Well I'm glad all 3 are going to be in. They deserve it for working hard. Berdych..was sloppy...this season....but I can't think of any other player that would challenge within the top 8, so he deserves to place.

Totally agreed. Toughest possible draw based on rankings (Steps first unseeded, Tipsy 9th and Nadal 1st) and more importantly because of Tomas record v. Janko and Nadull. Match against Radek is wide open, he knows Tomas well, has a tough game for Tomas. This R2 match between the Czechs sucks a lot. Radek needs points as well, fuck this.

I haven't seen Steps, but Tipsy and Nadal aren't in great form, so I give him a good chance.

I think the Fish/Tsonga winner has a real chance at winning Shanghai. If one of them does, he'll probably end up at #6 and might even challenge Ferrer for #5.

I'll take these 3 over Ferrer. I wish someone else replaced Ferrer at the WTF. The loss over Roddick shows exactly why Ferrer isn't top 8 material.

Sadly not. :(

Honestly I didn't expect Jo or Tomas to make the semi's so I didn't really bother with getting a ticket.

Shucks, mate .

Well I like both players, so may the best of them win. And yes, it's great of Tomas that he managed to make it that far already, so it's a good tournament for him whatever happens this evening.
Hope it will be a good match, in contrary to that mugfest this afternoon. ;)

Well I'm at least a little happy I saw Jo play this week but would have loved to have seen Tomas too. :(

Same here. :) Of course I want Tomas to win but I love the pair of them so I'm just going to home Jo doesn't clown around and Tomas doesn't choke and I'll be happy with the result. :)

With his play at the WTF I think Tsonga, but I'm so bad at tennis rankings I'm not really sure
