Any chance that Harrison won't need a wc to play MD?
last year 5 players withdrew from the entry list and 15 from the qualies entry list.
Since he is alt 19...do the math

When Kendrick will know if he can play as he's next on the entry list with Robredo out and Russel IN I think he was heard yesterday for his appeal. And Who is doubtful and could withdraw before qualies start ? Querrey maybe ?

I edit myself as i just read Cuevas would be out as well so Kendrick IN. Need the result of the appeal now

Gasquet will draw either Nalbandian, Davydenko, Bogomolov, Karlovic or Gulbis and the guy will play the tennis of his life the first day and completely fall apart the second day. Tsonga will draw any claycourter who is the weakest player of the draw. AS USUAL.

I think they changed the rule its not the highest seed but they put all seeds into a hat and pick

Joe H
08-25-2011, 11:01 PM
i think kubot dropped out after qualies started hence there are 17 qualifiers listed which includes 1 LL. if he dropped out earlier the next guy in ratings would have gotten in automatically without being in the qualies

I think they changed the rule its not the highest seed but they put all seeds into a hat and pick

once the qualifying is done they take the number of highest ranked final qualifying round losers equal to the # of LL spots + 2 to a minimum of 4, and draw randomly.

1 LL spot, 4 players in draw
2 LL spots, 4 players in draw
3 LL spots, 5 players in draw
etc
