This is an interesting tournament. The majority of the players are current college players or players who played just last year in college.

NCAA champ Steve Johnson is in the field. It will be very interesting to see how he will play in this tournament.

Steve Johnson looking good. Big test vs Bester coming up next. Gomez beat his GT teammate O'Brien in the 2nd round

Johnson def Bester 7-5 6-4. The guy is simply on fire.

UCLA Freshman Kosakowski gets a big win over Yani as well.

Honestly, I don't think he's on fire, but rather that this is just his actual level of ability at this point.
Good semifinals, Steve vs. the former top-100 player Jimmy Wang and Kosakowski vs. the younger Benneteau.

Thought Steve would have trouble with Jimmy Wang, but he won 6-1 6-1
Plays Kosakowski in the final.

The Final is another match between USC's Johnson and UCLA's Kosakowski.

Meetings this year in college:
1/14 Johnson 2-6 6-4 7-6
3/2 Johnson 6-2 6-2
4/22 Johnson 6-4 6-1
5/26 Johnson 6-2 6-1

Kosakowski won in three sets

That's a pretty big upset. Johnson must have been bored of beating Kosakowski. Kosakowski said he will be considering the pros, he may not return to UCLA next year. UCLA fans should be pulling against him because if he does return to the Bruins they will be a top 4 team next year.

Both playing in Chico next week
