Who's Mr. Clutch on the ATP Tour?RagaZ 06-05-2011, 10:09 PM Who usually performs on the big points in the big games? When it matters most, which player(s) always delivers? Vote and discuss. tennishero 06-05-2011, 10:28 PM nadal isnt as clutch as he use to be, novak is top atm, delpo close. rocketassist 06-05-2011, 10:30 PM It should be someone who goes for his shots on bp's and mp's and makes them the vast majority of the time. Mountaindewslave 06-05-2011, 10:31 PM although he's been a bit less lately, Nadal in general for sure. Not to say he NEVER chokes, but definitely in general he lets less things get to him Mungo 06-06-2011, 12:21 AM This is like asking who's the better player on clay. Tell me which active player has been clutchest than Nadal in Slams. The clutchest player is the clutchest in Slams. Other tourneys are peanuts. Ibracadabra 06-06-2011, 12:24 AM Delpo Saberq 06-06-2011, 12:52 AM Nadal is not clutch in Slams he is just playing great and winning by a great margin...Look all four sets he lost to Djokovic on clay this year...He served to stay in that set...I rest my case FlameOn 06-06-2011, 01:33 AM Nadal. Snowwy 06-06-2011, 02:21 AM Nadal is not clutch in Slams he is just playing great and winning by a great margin...Look all four sets he lost to Djokovic on clay this year...He served to stay in that set...I rest my case I love how you support a claim about slams by using non-slam evidence. :haha: As for the topic, I say Montanes. Topspindoctor 06-06-2011, 02:24 AM Used to be Nadal. He chokes a lot now. I say Novak right now. Satasonic 06-06-2011, 02:31 AM Clutch is the ability to win the key points when needed. If so, it has to be one of the big servers obviously. Nadal used to be clutch, he isnt too mentally strong now. As opposed to many- I think Djokovic isnt that clutch actually, I remember seeing a lot of unforced errors on BP before his streak. Federer was never clutch, so he is out of the question. Raonic is a great prospect for clutchness tbh. Orka_n 06-06-2011, 02:53 AM The Fog, of course. In short, he does whatever he wants whenever he wants. That is his special trolling power. http://2011.rolandgarros.com/images/pics/large/b_0527_Fognini01.jpg bigBOSS 06-06-2011, 03:19 AM how the fuck did nobody vote for Federer? Did you all see his match against Djokovic or were you drunk/shitfaced? hipolymer 06-06-2011, 03:29 AM how the fuck did nobody vote for Federer? Did you all see his match against Djokovic or were you drunk/shitfaced? Even in the Djoko match he wasted break points. Federer is not clutch, even when he wins. FerrerAndNadal 06-06-2011, 03:35 AM I cannot answer this question with one answer. There are two totally different types of clutch players. Those clutch in slams and out of slams Out of Slams: 1. Djokovic 2. Nadal 3. Murray In Slams: 1. Nadal 2. Federer 3. Djokovic No doubt that when it comes to the slams, only two men step it up | |
