Halle Q1: Bubka def. Muster 6-1 4-6 6-4Luinir 06-04-2011, 02:24 PM First grass set win since 1997 for Muster. Clay Death 06-04-2011, 02:28 PM why is this moron even playing on grass? he needs to dispense with the idea if playing on grass and hard courts at once. he will never win a single match. clay is his only hope in reviving his ground game. he is nothing without his ground game. LawrenceOfTennis 06-04-2011, 02:29 PM I love his career, but it's a bad joke. leng jai 06-04-2011, 02:29 PM Grandpa Muster just warming up for his Wimbledon title. Jelena 06-04-2011, 02:36 PM I would have :smash: Bubka if he had lost that. JMG 06-04-2011, 02:40 PM Muster was in RG until Wedneday or Thursday, so didn't even prepare that much. I doubt he plays another grass event. Dougie 06-04-2011, 02:41 PM Why, Thomas, why...Just stick to clay challengers. Luinir 06-04-2011, 02:43 PM Muster had a good comeback in the second set. He was early break down but regrouped and won the second set. He was up 4-3 in the third set also. Clay Death 06-04-2011, 02:46 PM Muster had a good comeback in the second set. He was early break down but regrouped and won the second set. He was up 4-3 in the third set also. goodness. now i am really pissed. damn it muster. do something. BULLZ1LLA 06-04-2011, 02:49 PM (Very impressive scoreline, incredible from Muster at his age, unbelievable) straitup 06-04-2011, 02:54 PM Bubka  Good effort from Muster Audacity 06-04-2011, 03:12 PM Not a bad effort from the old Grass GOAT. Filo V. 06-04-2011, 03:33 PM Muster has pretty consistently kept matches competitive against pretty good players, but he can't win the matches. If he's having fun hopefully he keeps going, but he needs a win. Eden 06-05-2011, 06:24 AM Muster had a good comeback in the second set. He was early break down but regrouped and won the second set. He was up 4-3 in the third set also. I was watching the match live and thought Muster would have a good chance in the 3rd set actually or that it would go at least to a TB. Deciding point was probably a ball which Muster didn't return as he thought it was going to be called out. He complained about the decision, lost concentration and the next 2 points. | |
