Here is the whole draw:

MAIN DRAW

[1] Jeremy CHARDY (FRA) vs QUALIFIER
Jaroslav POSPISIL (CZE) vs [WC] Fernando GONZALEZ (CHI)
[WC] Jan BLECHA (CZE) vs Lukas LACKO (SVK)
Daniel BRANDS (GER) vs [6] Florent SERRA (FRA)

[3] Julien BENNETEAU (FRA) vs Vincent MILLOT (FRA)
QUALIFIER vs Denis GREMELMAYR (GER)
Lukas ROSOL (CZE) vs Jerzy JANOWICZ (POL)
QUALIFIER vs [7] Rui MACHADO (POR)

[5] Jan HAJEK (CZE) vs [WC] Tiago FERNANDES (BRA)
Alexander KUDRYAVTSEV (RUS) vs Horacio ZEBALLOS (ARG)
Yuri SCHUKIN (KAZ) vs Ivo MINAR (CZE)
[WC] Jiri VESELY (CZE) vs [4] Matthias BACHINGER (GER)

[8] Alex BOGOMOLOV JR. (USA) vs [SE] Adam KELLNER (HUN)
Rogerio DUTRA DA SILVA (BRA) vs Jesse HUTA GALUNG (NED)
QUALIFIER vs Uladzimir IGNATIK (BLR)
[SE] Stephane ROBERT (FRA) vs [2] Grigor DIMITROV (BUL)

Grigor plays Robert in the first round. A player he've played couple of weeks ago in France and won 6-3 6-0 but on hard courts. Now the frenchman is apparently in form because tomorrow he plays the final in the challenger of Ostrava. The good thing is that Grisho avoided Gonzalez.
His match will be most probably on tuesday or even wednesday. The tournament has a livescore and maybe a livestream (but that will be known for sure on monday).
Good Luck to him and let's hope for a title here.

The big question is: how can he play after a very very good 250s tournaments... if good, he will win this event.

Lets stay cool and not expect the win of the tournament just because it is "only" a CH. But of course, if he can show to what he is able he has a good chance to win...

Exactly...
This 'only' thing can make problem in head of player...

My only wish everytime he plays a tourney is for him to play his best and be strong mentally. If that happens, then the wins just come naturally.

If he plays like he did last week. It would be very good to see that.
Beautiful tennis, that's the only thing matters, my people.

The match started already and in the very first game grigor just saved the 4th breakpoint against him... :-( slow start obviously. Now Gamepoint...

edit: he made it 1:0 in the first. Nice that he saved the breakpoints. hope from now on he serves better ;-)

Grigor won 6-1 3-6 6-3.

Quite intense match. Grigor really had to struggle to win this match. His next match will be against the qualifier Bloemke who defeated Ignatik in three sets. Their match will be tomorrow. Good Luck Grisha. Hopefully this match will be easier.

wow, thought it will be a two set win after the first was quite dominated by Grigor. But I just saw the the live score so may be even the first was more close than the score shows...

May be it was just a slow start but now he is warm and ready for the next matches ;-)

Sonja1989

The win is a win. Congrats Grisho! :D I guess after a good ATP tournament this match should be hard, no surprise here. Hard to play in Challenger level after big 250s results. His next match should be another thing... This match was one of the more important matches here.

Remember, his opponent was coming of a run to a challenger final. This match was bound to be a difficult one. So this is a very good win to start the tournament. A tough match will warm him up for the rest of the tournament.

bloemke isnt a horrible player, he just couldnt buy a first serve in the opening set

he started serving better and now is hammering grigor..i wish i could say im suprised but im really not

i dont think grigor was in this tournament 100% mentally and now he will suffer for it

Thanks, I am very disappointed. At this stage Grigor needs to learn to hold his nerve and be fully present in the matches. I was so sure of his win...:sad::sad::timebomb: I wish him to really learn his lesson from today and be very succeessful in his next tournament.

not really. If there's one really big weakness he has its his mentality

i think its entirely possible he underesitmated bloemke, thought it would be an easy win. Then he got pissed off that he lost the 2nd set even with a chance to break off of bloemke's 2nd serve and didnt take it. Then everything just went downhill from there

Sonja1989

Who knows, maybe he just lost toughness and he didn't want to be on court in third set...

No injury. The tournament director sait for "TennisKafe.com" that Grisho slow down in the second set and for the rest of the match Bloemke was the better player.

No injury.

Right now I'm not sure whether I like or dislike this information. Allway important that he is healthy and has no strong injuries. But if he wasn't injured it is just frightening the way he was trashed by this guy who I never heard of although I'm from GER...

No, no I disagree. We shouldn't hide behind some excuses whereas the problemes became so obvious right now.

I've just came back to MTF to found out he lost in this way :(

not so surprised from the lost rather the way it happened. Grigor totaly tanked the match and the fact he was laughing in the end is very disturbing  poor work ethic is leading to nowhere...

sadly he didn't step on the level from Munich, on every step forward he makes two steps back, that's rediculous...

sort out your head, Grigor :o

He performed badly in Prague :smash: and yet rewarded with +2 ranking (#64 this week). :banghead:

We just have to trust Peter Mc to continue to discipline him and keep his feet on the ground.

Well we should be patient, we knew it hard to play in Challenger tournament after good week in ATP level. Off week for him after Nice. We will see what happen. I'm not mad of him because of this performance.
