I like his game better than Karlovic,Isner.
He has great potential in the future to be top20 player in 2-3 years....
Year end: I think around 50th place.

Top 30 should cut it for this year. He's got the game and yes, he's better than serve-only Karlovic.

I reckon top 40. Doesn't take that many points to get there, has a jumpstart with 4R of AO, should to well at Wimbledon/Indoor season.

I said 20-40. He has virtually nothing to defend until Granby Challenger, and then nothing after that until US Open qualifying, KL, and Tokyo. I think he'll move up very far in a hurry and once he starts getting DE into these events, he'll be able to defend his chunk of points that he got towards the end of last year;)

The hype was huge around, meteoric rise etc. But as almost everybody I have doubts about his clay and even grass game. There's alot of time to improve, but do you see a 2011 slam semi-finalist? I certainly don't, but GL to him.

He won't be good clay season but he can make surprise on grass and US Open series. I think top 20.

I don't think he'll have a good clay season, but I expect better results on grass and during the Noth American HC season. But his best results will probably come during the indoor season

I think he'll do better on clay than most people expect

. . . and not as good on grass as most people think

I agree. I think he will do ok on clay. I'm not saying he'll go on to win tournaments, that would be insane, and that is never going to happen. However, he has been playing a lot on clay in Spain, and I definitely think that will make him able to win a few matches here and there, but yeah.. I'm still not expecting much. Indoor season will probably be better for him! I also hope he does well in the Canada MS.

Top 20 if everything goes well.

Agree that he likely won't set the grasscourts on fire - his subpar movement will get exposed there.

He'll do better from the start of the grass season unless he gets injured. I think he will finish the year in top 15.

i am among those that really dont think he'll have such a great grass season. he is not a great mover, he's not even a good mover he's just okay and grass should expose that

i think he'll have a solid hard court season and will probably finish top 20

but if he's still having back problems then he might not do anything

lets not also forget that he's moved up quickly not only because of play but also because he could go only up, he had nothing to defend

he's got a fair chunk of points to defend toward the end of the season though

Milos has 1150 point this year and we are half way through the season only. With the faster half of the season coming he could easily double that. 2300 points would put him at about 10th in the world,

Just based on the numbers this is very realistic, the only question being if he can keep up his performance from the early HC events.

and i think you are getting carried away

I was multiplying his ATP race points by two. There are no points to defend in the race.

Why cant he equal his achievements in the second half on faster courts? His game will only benefit on faster courts. Of course his level might dip but if it does not we should see him around number 10.

 Wish tennis was simple as that - just because it is hard courts you multiply by two and here he is in top 10

well in theory if he plays just as well in the 2nd half as the first half he gets the same amount of points so doubling makes sense, then you compare those amount of points to the current rankings for an estimated year end ranking. Of course that is just as simplified a guess as you can come up with as countlees different things can happen but with Hard Courts(his best surface) coming up it's definately possible;)

all it takes is an off day for his serve in the first round of USO and, there goes his second half of the season down the drain. I am not saying it will happen but I tend to agree with misty that Mark73 got a little bit carried away with placing Milos in top 10.

like I said countless different things can happen, never said it was even likely, just explained the logic behind it, and to show it's not that far fetched, but even I don't think it will happen, but it could

Milos NEEDS to lose to the likes of Petzchner, Berrer, Greul. Its all a part of a long, grueling training regime of sorts. If he will defeat all the mugs with ease, he will choke to the top 10 players. What happens to Milos now is a slight drop of confidence, which will undoubtedly be good for him in the long run. Hopefully he understands that he is still vulnerable to players on his weakest surfaces.
I believe that Milos will have a good Wimbledon, with a 4th round showing. I still think that Milos will finish this year in top 15 :wavey:

I said around number ten, not in the top 10. Don't put words in my mouth please. I'm thinking 9-12.
