Thank you Gasquet for stopping this mugfest.

Richard can beat Fish, mardy shows nothing extraordinary this year.

Lorenzi fails to take advantage of the bizarre phenomenon going on in Miami today. Gasquet played carefully, staying away from the lines.

:yeah: I love "I don't give a shit anymore, I'm just gonna play me some nice tennis" Gasquet.

Gasquet should skip the whole clay season and concentrate on the grass season.
He could do very big damage there.

Richie played carefully? Well, he doesn't go for the lines that often outside of when he plays the top of the top players. Most matches he stands way behind the baseline and trades shots with his opponents and tries to outmaneuver them or out-do them with consistency, with occasional shotmaking/counterpunching, and it works most of the time.

Lorenzi isn't a good enough player to take advantage of anything so this result was to be expected.

It was a pun reflecting his not so careful behavior with other kinds of white lines, nudge nudge...

But I agree with you, Gasquet has become more of a counterpuncher than before. Seems to work at the moment anyway.

Oh yeah, Gascoke

But I'm sure he just counterpunched Lorenzi all day and probably didn't extend himself at all in the match. He should have a good opportunity v Fish.

Well done, Gasquet. Now with any so-called 'top player' coinking out of the draw, I'd like to see you make the most of your opportunity here. :)

Nice and easy :)

Gasquet should skip the whole clay season and concentrate on the grass season.

Always such wise words from your keyboard :worship:

Who would have that that Gasquet of all people would be the one with the comfortable, routine match.

Am I  or have Richard been winning a lot of matches this year?

Yep, Gasquet beginning to at least win matches that he SHOULD win. And maybe a few that he shouldn't as well. Glad to see him working his way back up.
