Will We See A Fedal SF In Miami?

It seems the possibility of a fedal clash is higher now that they are on the same side of the draw.

Nadals possible paths:
R2: Chardy / Nishikori
R3: Chela / Lopez / Berankis
R4: Dolgopolov / Tsonga
QF: Almagro / Karlovic / Montanes / Gulbis / Berdych

Federers possible paths:
R2: Fognini / Stepanek
R3: Monaco / Dimitrov / Stakhovsky
R4: Baghdatis / Youzhny
QF: Melzer / Cilic / Simon / Roddick

Predictions?

Very possible.

However, the guys at the QF might edge him out if he's in FedERROR mode.

Roddick in the USA is a difficult one.

Their first two matches were in Miami but they haven't played there since. Given their draw and form I expect them both to make it. Should be a good match too as the conditions and surface shouldn't give either a big edge.

Rafa needs a confidence boost right now. And sending Olderer packing would do the trick.

Don't see any problems for Rafa. Fed should make it, although guys like Baghdatis/Youzhny/Cilic/Simon can certainly beat him on a good day (or if Shankerer shows up). I'll definitely be rooting for it, they really should have a couple more great battles before Fed's really over the hill.

I sure hope so.

Funny how Fedfans complained before that the H2H was skewed because they played most of their matches on clay and Rafa wasn't good enough to make hard court finals.

Now it is the other way around :p

By recent form Fed has a better chance to make it than Nadal.
If they both make it I'm not sure who will win, but it should be interesting as both have made some changes.
I assume Nole doesn't care.

I hope we will, but I think one of them will lose before the SF. (so close in Cincy last year, but Baghdatis ruined the party :p)

Berdych is a Nadal bunny, I say Nadal in 2

Berdych was the runner-up last year at Miami, so it won't be an easy match for Nadal, especially if Nadal starts slowly his match

I kinda like Berdych channces here so No Nadal semis for me.
nadal's mind is already on clay.

Miami is not played on grass :o

it's more easy to beat Nadal on hard court than clay/grass,

an upset is possible, it's never easy to keep the same level of play for players who were runner-up at Indian Wells, often the winner and the runner-up of Indian Wells can lose badly at Miami ( tiredness, injury, lack of motivation because of the clay season )

Nadal's only problem may be Dolgoclownov
Federer's only problem may be Simon

Berdych is twice as likely to reach a Wimbledon final than a US Open or Aust Open Final. Definitely better on grass. Nadal has won 8 straight sets over Berdych on hardcourt. The only time Berdych could beat Nadal on hardcourt was before Nadal was 2006 when Nadal was a lot more defensive. Nadal in 2 over Berdych at Miami

Nadal could be fatigued before the semis, would love to see it though.

Seems Djoko will beat either anyway.

Meh at least I didn't get bad repped or a week ban. It was indeed a solid effort but maybe in the wrong section. I guess they didn't get the vid or the pic. Check your calendar, not too confusing... :/
