Andy Roddick Will Defend His ATP Masters Series 1000 Miami Title

Yes people, I think its gonna happen!

Nadal is just a mug on fast HC and has no chance of winning Miami. Federer is in poor form and hasn't done well here the past few years. Djokovic cannot be winning everything. There will come a point where he will lose a match and I think it will be at this very tournament. As for Soderling and Murray, they have been shit lately and probably won't even reach the quarters.

Therefore, with all the top 5 not having any chance of winning, Roddick will be the heavy favourite for the title. Historically, he has always done well when playing in the States and this year, he has also been playing some inspiring tennis, showing glimpses of last year's spring HC season form. So I say, Roddick will successfully defend his ATP Masters Series 1000 Miami title. You all heard it here first!

If Miami is fast hard court then I had a threesome with both Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel last night.

Unfortunately for me and tennis, Miami is slow, and my hand was the same as always.

I think and hope your sweety will get a goooood oooole ass-whooping :inlove:

P.S. Federer is not in poor form - he has been very consistent, Djokovic can't win everything but he can win Miami, Rafa will be looking for his first Miami title, Murray will be looking to get out his slump in big way, etc. Sorry blondie, it's going to be tough for your favorite wind-up ducky toy

Please, Roddick isn't beating Nadal, the so called 'fast hardcourt mug' (and even if he was, Miami isn't that fast), who just happens to hold the fast hardcourt slam. Nadal was by far the best player in the last two rounds of Indian Wells, he just switched off the last two sets of the final. He isn't makng that mistake again, and will be back super motivated to show why he's the best.

Please guys, do you really think that mug Federer has any chance of getting past the mighty Roddick in the quarters? Get real. No sarcasm intended

Not intended, it just happened right? :p The day Fed starts losing to the duck, my guess is, he'll call it a day.

Definitely not putting it past him

I actually think both of last year's finalists will do pretty well here.

I don't see him going over 1/4, max.

Miami is a fast hardcourt? It might be the slowest hard court they play on all year. Madrid and Rome are probably faster than that court. Roddick is Federer's quarter. He has basically no chance.

sure he will. even if he's ranked out of the top 20, he'll be seeded within the top 12 in wimby.

He has some problems here, first he must pass the quarterfinals. He is facing a 20-2 deficit against his likely opponent. Second he'd better play great tennis, if he has to beat Rafa and Nole. And if he can't beat Ritchie :o He should be happy if he beats Simon in 3rd round. And i will be happy too :)

Hmmm.

1) Miami is SLOW HC. Very slow HC.
2) I can see at least 5, 6 more likely candidates to take the title here than Roddick...

That said, best of luck to your fav player, OP. :)
