If Andy find his form and played better, he has a really good chance, considering it's an MS tournament and that he's great in hard best of 3 set matches...

That said, I think he'll only reach the semi-finals, with one of the other top 4 winning, maybe Federer?
I'll go with Murray just cause...

Little slower in speed through the court, and the ball travels through the air slower too - overall a little harder to hold serve, but not massively so. Biggest difference is the bounce though, it's a lot lower. Quite a lot of guys just can't stand Indian Wells for that reason (eg Davydenko, Stepanek can't win a match there, but are fine at Miami).

It's basically possible to play attacking tennis at Miami because of that low bounce, but Indian Wells is a bit like a clay court, long rallies waiting for errors, or building/waiting for a chance to unload.

Conditions are uglier in Miami though - just as hot, but much more humid:
There is a 78% chance of a Humid Day (dew point over 60F / 16C).
There is a 27% chance of a Sweltering Day (dew point over 70F / 21C).

Indian Wells:
There is a 1% chance of a Humid Day (dew point over 60F / 16C).
There is a 0% chance of a Sweltering Day (dew point over 70F / 21C).

Obviously Federer or Djokovic. You might say Nadal because of the slower court and game than IW , but Federer is improving his form and Djokovic is the strongest player mentally out there.....wait....along with Ndal but gained confidence from Dubai, aussie open etc....but really hope Del Potro will make a deep run over there in Miami. The conditions are good for him if keeps injury free.

maybe a little surprise, it's the last HC tournament before long. Many players are tired, many are thinking about European clay already. They don't want to hurt their clay preparation, i say a little upset here, Berdych, Soderling, Raonic maybe. Young unlikely.

More than who will win it, the question should have been 'is anyone capable enough to stop Djokovic in Miami' with two options 'yes' and 'no'. Because clearly that is how things are at the moment.

Let's see if he wins Miami as well. The way he is playing at the moment, it will take some doing to beat Djokovic.

This coming from Djokovic fans! He has started the year like no one else since 1990 and should win at all costs to keep this record. After Miami he can skip Monte Carlo (not compulsory) and so doesn't have to play until Madrid in May. That's plenty of rest for him.

Yes, that's all great but now is probably a good time to rest a bit...clay season is around the corner, and if he wants to be "numero uno" he's got to stay healthy and keep some of that newfound confidence...momentum is a good thing, but he has to be careful not to "overplay" ...he'll never be "fit" as Nadal no matter how hard he tries, he just doesn't have the genes, and his game is just as grueling as Nadal's...Nadal had to learn that lesson the hard way...

Tank early clay masters to peak for RG. Therefore no confidence loss.

Why should Djokovic tank?

to avoid injuries, clay season will begin soon, last year he suffered from health problems and was not very fitness for clay tournaments,

I think he will play Miami with moderate motivation and much more precautions about his health , for example if he feels some pain on his knee or shoulder he will probably "tank" or withdraw

Bingo. Joker was spent for the rest of the year after. I think it will be a mistake for him to chase all the masters events on clay. he wants wimbledon most of all though, expect a mount everest sized peak in form for that tourney - man feds gonna get spanked again, and then another grudge match with the clay god for zeus defying olympian supremacy

This is one of the hardest tournaments to predict, even more than AO.

-Djoko is out of the question, he never performs well back-2-back in these tournaments.
-Nadal is getting better and better and should be hungry for a title, but he is always a question mark fysically.
-Federer can win it when he doesn't meet Nadal or Djokovic.
-Soderling injured.
-Murray in atrocious form.
-Roddick old and in shitty form.
-Ferrer not good enough to win such a big HC event. Could make final though.
-Del Potro not ready to make a top 10 win yet.
-Don't see any other contenders.

If I have to make a pick, I think it will be Murray. He is capable of winning a big tournament out of the blue. And he has won here before.
Outsider would be Ferrer for me.

if Del Potro reached the final, I think he could beat Nadal (there are two days rest before the final),

but it would be a great effort for him to cumulate so many wins after going back from injury : he doesn't have the toughest draw but I think he will lose before the final.

As for Djokovic he may be tired but he has quite a good draw then he may go through.
