With that said, he has cheated in the past and so therefore I can understand some of the hate towards him, however he has definitely proved himself as a professional and is generally very well liked among his peers. He should be appreciated for being a consistent, great player. He may have limited talent, but he's reached #5 in the world and had a great career with it. Great.

For me, Robredo is much better to watch than Ferrer. Indeed, when he plays at his best, he is the player I like the most to watch. I hope he will offer us a few more years of good tennis, but one thing his clear, I won't follow tennis as much as I do now, when he retires.

Because Ferrer many times plays an aggressive style of tennis, his intensity and his dogged demeanor and all out hustle, plus the fact he threatens/beats the top players occasionally.

robredo doesn't transmit the same intensity as Ferrer because he's a much more natural mover.

Ferrer is hustle, hustle, hustle while Robredo glides effortlessly around.

Also, Ferrer is generally much more aggressive with his ball strinking, especically when he gets the chance to hit an inside-out forehand.
