This list is WAY better than usual. What gives :( This will make it difficult for Gil to defend his F points. And yes all, I am upset, I wanted the usual challenger list so some different guys went deep in the draw. Oh well, this list is better for the fans.

Will Soderling play here? If he does that means he plays 4 week straight with Barcelona, Estoril, Madrid & Rome. Plus he already has two 250 points so can't add any points??

03-16-2011, 01:04 AM
Maybe Robin will skip, he doesnot need to play here, no point plused

03-16-2011, 02:27 AM
Yes, Gil won't be able to defend his points here. But I don't mind. This list is so fucking hot! If I were in Portugal, I'll goo see this, but I'm on Lithuania now, so I can't watch all these stars. But good luck to all of them. Hopefully Gil won't need a WC. I'm so happy. I think I can say that these is one of the better 250 tournaments of the year! :worship:

03-16-2011, 03:10 AM
Really interesting field. I guess it's a damn nice place to play at, but I'm still surprised to see Robin play here. Maybe he suspects there will be some tough challenges early in Barcelona where he might lose, because it'll be his first clay tournament of the season.

03-16-2011, 04:36 AM
Raonic and Verdasco here :haha:

03-16-2011, 05:39 AM
I will be surprised If Nando will really play.
Good list!!! :)

03-16-2011, 12:43 PM
No Davydenko this year ? He used to play there before..

03-16-2011, 01:47 PM
No Davydenko this year ? He used to play there before..

Davydenko is in Munich ;)

As for Verdasco, everywhere there's good money to catch, he's there ;)

And Söderling might follow this trend ;)

03-16-2011, 02:30 PM
I don't know why won't defend Montanes his title. But if better Belgrade for him...

03-16-2011, 02:43 PM
Del Potro there! :D VAMOS!

03-17-2011, 01:41 AM
Raonic and Verdasco here :haha:

I really hope they have to face each other, real tennis this time, unless Milos wins of course:p

03-17-2011, 02:52 PM
No Fed? Guess playing the 250's was a one year only thing, then.

03-19-2011, 12:34 PM
I like very much this entry list.

Soderling, Del Potro, Verdasco, Bellucci, Simon, Raonic and Berankis are good names for a 250 tournament.

I have already my ticket for Monday. :)

03-19-2011, 04:47 PM
Good luck Juan Martin Del Potro and Carlos Berlocq :bounce:

03-19-2011, 04:49 PM
Marcos Daniel healthy yet?

03-27-2011, 01:57 PM
Delpo confirmed he won't play Estoril. He starts his clay campaign in Madrid.

04-06-2011, 03:51 PM
Who gets wild cards? Machado? Gil?
When will be decision?

Source of this news ??

Gil won't need one, because Del Potro problably won't play and there is also the SE spots cleared. Rui with some luck (1 or 2 withdrawls) may not need too. Gastão Elias will receive, it's 100% guaranteed. Then, problably João Sousa or Leo Tavares (only one of these too), and the last one to some foreign famous player (who knows, Federer?)

04-12-2011, 12:44 PM
Delpo confirmed on Twitter that he'll play Estoril. Don't know why some rumours pretend he'll pull out

04-13-2011, 12:30 AM
Amazing list! :D

04-18-2011, 02:48 PM
Tsonga got a WC.

04-18-2011, 03:01 PM
Tsonga got a WC.

Yes, and João Lagos, tournament director and owner, was refered as having said that Rui Machado will play, even if he doesn't enter directly (I'm sure he will, if SE clear, as usual, assuming Berankis is really out, and taking into account that Dudi Sela is already directly into Belgrade).

He also said that another WC will go to another portuguese player (I think it will be Gastão Elias), since he is sure that Frederico Gil will enter directly.

The other WC to a Top-20, but now we know that it is Tsonga.
Good for the audiences, and a spectacular player.
Another good addition to an enormous list of players, although probably some of the big sharks will end up not playing.

And as I explayned, another WC will still be available, to replace any important withdrawal, or for any Portuguese young-gun, although the obvious (João Sousa, Leonadro Tavares, Pedro Sousa) are in disastrous form.

04-18-2011, 03:12 PM
I don't know if Gastão will be able to play. He's been injury and already pulled out from 2 challengers in the last 2 weeks. I hope he does though...

I think the 2 WCs remaining will go to Gastao (if he can play) and Leonardo Tavares (who's coming back from injury). If Gastão can't play, then probably João Sousa will get the spot.

04-18-2011, 11:24 PM
Tiago Fernandes tweeted that he is in Estoril, I think he will get a qualifying draw WC

04-20-2011, 03:50 PM
Becker is OUT. It's Official. Injury in his right elbow. Gil is IN! No need for WC. Machado just receive a WC, but he said he was hoping not receive it and get in directly, to gie to another portuguese player a WC.

Cut off will probably be in the Bolelli/Hajek range, if not lower. I can definitely see Soderling pulling out, Berankis and Becker are already out, and then the SEs should be cleared. Will be interesting to see if De Bakker actually plays here, and if Riba is healthy.

Yang Tsung-hua and Tiago will play here

Tiago has MD wildcard?

Looking forward to see De Bakker back in action. He really need some good wins.

Daniel and Andreev are both playing here. Also Machado is in, so that opens up another WC spot. De Bakker and Soderling will both be playing.

04-21-2011, 08:01 PM
Any news on the 3rd WC?

04-21-2011, 09:31 PM
De Bakker comeback :D

04-21-2011, 11:18 PM
Is Dutra da Silva playing here?

04-22-2011, 08:59 AM
Vamos Delpo !

04-22-2011, 10:51 AM
A strong field for a 250

04-22-2011, 12:59 PM
Very impressive given there are two masters in two weeks following.

04-22-2011, 09:59 PM
Machado directly IN, so rest of the WC went to Gastao Elias and Joao Sousa.

04-22-2011, 11:05 PM
Marcos Daniel in the MD :spit:
I also hope Del Potro or Soderling are full fit (but i sincerly don't think so) and will save tennis by winning this event. If not, i think everybody has a chance because all the rest are a bunch of mugs

04-22-2011, 11:34 PM
Totally deserved WC for Gastão. There wasn't other portuguese player that really deserved the WC, but still understand the decision to give it to João Sousa. But he's playing shit this season...

04-23-2011, 05:40 AM
Davydenko is in Munich ;)

As for Verdasco, everywhere there's good money to catch, he's there ;)

How does he loves money in Estoril. ?
He skipt Barca but Estoril where he was defend champ there.?
