Way too solid from Robredo. It could've been an even worse score line.

Young unable to back it up, as expected.

Yet another case of a player upsetting a top seed and losing the next round.

See you in Miami, Donfather.

If Young played like this against Murray, Murray would've double bageled him.

Robredo put in a lot of balls like he always does, and Young made a trillion irrational unforced errors like he always does. Young didn't play phenomenal against Murray by any stretch of the imagination, so it wasn't a huge drop down by any means here.

Those that didn't see the Young-Murray match have no clue just how atrocious that Andy Murray is capable of playing.

If Young played like this against Murray, Murray would've won 6-0 6-2.

Murray still won 9 games against a very good Young...

Too funny....

it was a total beating, Robredo was good but that's not all the problem.

Totally expected, childish Young beat an uninterested Murray and created images in his head of playing in the semifinal at Indian Wells.

He did play like this against Murray. Young made a bunch of double faults and unforced errors there too. I know that you have Scottish ties, but I think that you are severely underplaying just how bad that Murray is playing.

False.

Young won against Murray because Murray was so bad hitting at least 2 errors for each winner.

Donald Young sucks.

This was true last week, true after Murray tanked, and true today. Chances are it remains true for the foreseeable future also.

Expected result. Tommy played Don before and beat him. Too solid mentally and with his consistency. Also his FH simply was too big for Don to handle, completely dictated the match with it, moving Don all around. Don has to improve his serve and consistency, and get better range on his shots. He has a long way to go to be even decent at the ATP level.

This wasn't a huge drop down. Young was awful against Murray, and was awful again today. Murray really played that bad (and what's worse, he didn't even seem to care), and wouldn't have beaten a player in the draw. If anything, you could say that Murray was lucky to have drawn Young, as against a lot of players Murray would have been double bageled that day.

Young lacks punch on his groundies and his serve, without that is quite hard to be big in todays game, just trying to angle the ball doesnt cut it if you dont put meat behind them.

He is supposed to be at his best in a hardcourt yet he was pushed around by Robredo, who is not exactly an agressive player specially on clay. So he still has plenty of work to do.

NID, Young only won because Murray was beyond awful, Boredo is too consistent for him.

Gutless performance from Young.

Losing 6/0 to Boredo is something to put a person on suicide watch. Honestly. I'd need it if I were Young.

Solid win for Tommy...too bad DY just can't seem to improve. When Young came to the net to shake Murrays hand the other night , I was amazed at how small DY looked compared to Murray. I guess in todays tennis size [and strength] does matter.
