Melzer leads 2-0 (both on clay); he never lost a set to Richard, last meeting in 2007.
Melzer is n°10, Gasquet is n°21
Melzer is 29, Gasquet is 24
Melzer's last 3 singles matches were against french players: Chardy(L), Simon(W), Benneteau(W)
None of them ever reached QF at Indian Wells.

Will be interested to see Gasquet angrily moonballing from 10 feet behind the baseline then.

Yepp,Melzer will whip Gasquet off court I guess. Gasquet has it all, but not as great competitor as Melzer.

They will all fall back into the court because of the heavy wind tommorow
Gasquet. He's playing really well in his last matches. Melzer is a very good player, too. Will be a good match

I'll have to go with Melzer since Gasquet won't be able to hurt Melzer with his moonballing. As long as Melzer is able to control UE's he'll do it easily.

Melzer in 3 sets,
because I don't know if Gasquet is really healthy ( it's difficult to heal quickly a shoulder injury ), Melzer is a smart player, Gasquet will have to play near to his best level if he wants to beat Melzer

Richard. Sooner or later the recent DC-tie will take its toll on Jürgen.
