I'm inclined to say Milos in 2, but he does have some kind of back issue so who knows.

Man I hope Harrison wins. By all accounts he is a great guy, has a nice all-around game and is American. Raonic has already had his breakthrough, so I am strongly pulling for Harrison.

In reality however, Milos will win in 3. I say 3 because he is slightly injured, or else he would win in 2.

Since Agassi, Ryan can be one of the best returners. He hit several return winner. Hope he will catch some of those big bombs.

Raonic 6-3 6-4 or so. Injury= 6-3 7-6 or similar. Harrison doesnt have the weapons to hurt Raonic, he wont get a single break point in that match.

More so on the forehand side from what I've seen. He hit some awesome returns versus GGL today.

You probably watched him play against the weakest 2nd serve on tour. Of course Harrison is just average returner, not even close to the likes of Nalbandian or Agassi

I'm not saying he's already a great returner. I just pointed out, that I noticed some fantastic returns there. Okay, GGL may not be a big server, but Harrison returned really well against Soderling in Brisbane this year.

Depends of fitness, but Raonic has the game to cut points short so if he's aggressive and it's not affecting his swing too much I think he'll win in two

I take it that by "americans" you mean those living in the U.S.

Well, why shouldn't we support him? Tennis is an international sport. Canada is a good neighbor and has the same language (almost :p ). We tend to like one another despite some sniping from time to time. If the Canadians can have a great player, that means North America has a great player.

P.S. Raonic for the win, but I think Harrison might do better than some think against him.

I think Ryan's going to win. Raonic's health will be a factor, the slow courts will be a factor, and Ryan's got the game to hang with him, plus the America factor will be major. Thinking a straight sets victory for the up-and-coming US hopeful.

The surface is in Ryan's favor, but Milos became a matured player so I'll go with him in 3 sets.

This will be a VERY interesting matchup. I don't think that Raonic will win as easily as some on here project. I actually see this going to a couple of tiebreakers, and who wins is anyone's guess.

Raonic is certainly the favorite, but if given the right odds (i.e. 3-1 or greater) I wouldn't hesitate to throw a few bucks on Harrison here.

I disagree. Querrey and Isner looked like top 20ish players when I saw them, but Ryan looks like more. He's more unique than the last group somehow.

I hope Milos, I would love to see him play Fed in R4, if Roger beats Chela. Wouldn't mind who wins if that matchup happened! But it would be great for Ryan to reach R4 of a Masters event. Should be a nice result either way I guess :)

LOL. As usual, the MTF brain trust was at it again.

I PM'd several of the people who said that Raonic would win easily to try to get odds (I offered better than the sportsbooks had it), and of course they all refused. Anyone saying that Raonic would win handily had obviously never seen Harrison serve and had completely ignored the junior records between the two. Either that or they were on drugs or delusional fanboys.

Their junior records had nothing to do with it. Over 22 unforced errors with the forehand played a big part. Credit to Ryan he's talented, aggressive and scrappy but Milos' level of play dropped off today and he still almost won. Federer's forehand will be far less generous.
