Somdev looks in good touch! :yeah:

So much for a 'fitter and healthier' Marcos coming back in 2011. All that hype!

Bag looked comfortable, took the break, went mentally walkabout and gave it straight back. Then at *5-6 choked, and completely tanked the second set, doublefaulting constantly and making no effort to play seriously.

Adolescent performance, really.

My word, what happened! When I last saw, Baghdatis was ahead in the first set. I hope it's not an injury.

A completely disaster after being up in the first set. Somdev just basically kept the pressure on by being consistent and hitting deep, and Marcos donated error after error after starting decently, terrible footwork through most of the match. Serving was poor too. Seemed like he never got comfortable with the conditions. He beat Roger here last year so this is very disappointing.

Great for Somdev though! I love how he's sort of the underdog story. Hope he keeps up the good form.

He was fine, just lost it mentally, and tanked to get off court asap.

But the guy on the other side always wants one.

Fatdatis is a disgrace. He would lose to a wall, would consistently hit it into the ground or over the wall :o

Apparently he had a finger problem, so hadn't been practicing at all.

Explains why he gave up so easily, losing 8 games in a row to Devvarman......

great win for Devvarman, but Baghdatis didn't seem to put up much of a fight :o :tape:

This training camp was the doom of Baggy, countless disappointments and retirements since then.

What was he fingering with? :aplot:

Its actually fun to watch Pushvarman make some noise with his brand of tennis! Tipsy and Baggs, both in the bag.
