Wow, totally forgot about the next week's draw, but that happens when the boy is busy with semis and finals now :)
Beck is tough, but he also stayed late in France this week so he will not have more time to rest and he is older than Grisha so Grigor has better chances to win. The match should be on Tuesday night the earliest. After that Tursunov should be the biggest obstacle and Mahut if he is not more tired than Grigor. Looks good overall to me, but an early exit will not bother me as Grigor will need rest.
Good luck in Sarajevo!!!:wavey:

Not a nice draw! He will be exhausted to play final, then travel and get Karol Beck in the first match.

I am not happy with the draw, but that's the luck. I think that title in Cherbourg and QF/SF in Sarajevo will be OK :D

I see do you have any problem with the draw. What do you think who will be very tough for him?... but if he will be tired I think everybody.

He needs more and more consecutive matches to be ready to play 7 5-set matches at GS. See Raonic - for 2-3 months he got ready with his physical preparation. He's not tired anymore and can play many matches. It's good that he played doubles tournament.

Grigor lost 6-7 4-6. He made many errors and played passive tennis, which was good practice for him, but did not work out. He looked tired at times not chasing balls he could have gotten to and obviously did not feel too sorry for dropping out at the end.
Time to go to the USA now!

We shouldn't be too disappointed about this tournament, 80 pt (if he won the whole thing) would get him a few places up the ranking. Time to stop chasing points in Challengers now.

This loss was expected. I am not disappointed so much and so Grigor didn't look that way too. Was even strange with the game he showed to reach the first set a tiebreak. He was 2 breaks down at 5-2 in second set, the last break was at 0-40 and then he suddenly smile (quite strange to me, he is always angry when loosing) and took the next 2 games and re-break to 5-4. Then blew some break points at Beck serve and lost the match. Very strange  very 'bohemian' like

Karol played very well and deserved to win. Good luck to him.

In someway Grigor looked either tired or not willing to play this tournament

Anyway, now will have time to rest and prepare for Miami.

It is sad for his fans that when televised/livestreamed recently he always loose and don't show a good game. I wish I could watch his matches in France to see his game!

I am not so disappointed. He was tired, I suppose, and he had a problem with his thigh, right. Now, he'll take some rest for a week, or so, and then will play in Miami :D

He has two weeks for relax. :) I think it's enough.

haven't been watching tennis at all lately. Hope Grigor is doing his thing. Don't like this loss. He needs momentum heading into Miami. IMO should have played IW riding high after his challenger win!
