What a collapse from Dimi after losing tight first set.

Yeah, after being down 3-0 in the second Dima just began ballbashing..

Comfortable for Robin in the end, but Dmitry served well for most of the first which kept the score respectable.

Final against Cilic will be interesting. :)

Soderling reacts in a different way this week than in the previous one. I think he knew in Rotterdam that everything would be possible, so many good players were there, in Marseille he doesn't play his best tennis to win the tournament, he's a huge favorite from the beginning and all depends on keeping the level at 70% of his abilities.

wheeeeeeee. a third title would be nice.

Most in form player of the year bar 1 match.

Tursunov tried to exploit the same tactics that won him a Melzer match but Soderling was hitting the ball much better than the Austrian. The second set was just a formality as it was obvious Mitya had no asnwer to Robin' serve.
Nevertheless, an excellent tournament for Mitya.

Interesting that they needed 10 years to play for the first time against each other.

Congrats Soderling for the final again. !!! :)
Great tournament for Tursunov, I think he will return to top 50 soon.

The quality of play in that first set was really impressive. Soderling is in awesome form at the moment (as if it needs saying again)! Soderling hit some impressive forehand down the line winners as he often does, and Tursunov had some angles for winners off of both wings that were vintage Tursunov. You hate to see Tursunov fold in the second set in the manner that he did, but I agree 100% with Sonja that Tursunov is not far from being back in the top 50.
