Your favourite unforced error?

:D

I laugh when some underdog has a breakpoint and plays well for the whole point, all he has to do is to finish off from the net, the court is open and this mug would send it a km wide

I like a good frame shank that sends the ball flying to the stands.

A terribly timed drop shot a la Djokovic is nice too. :D Even better if it bounces before reaching the net.

(at net, whole court open, slams it hard with a non framehit and successfully misses the court)

Can't beat the old Russian/ex-Soviet ballbasher UE that hits the back fence before the court.

i remember watch Tursunov play Gaudio at Monte Carlo a few years ago.

Dima had a whole heap of break points and before each one he was muttering "make him play. make him play" to himself yet every single time he blasted the return as hard as he could, either into the fence of the net. Just couldn't fight his nature.

4 extreme ones of this kind i saw this year -

Stepanek against Raonic with an easy 1 meter above the net height ball, 2 meters behind it, got slapped to not touch the ground even lol

Thiemo de Bakker against Monfils in AO, same thing

Federer against Gasquet with the easiest BH in the midle of the net at BP 30-40. Ball came back from a defensive stretch, bounced 3 meters behind the net and had to be finished. Ended up as mentionned above

Federer against Djokovic, again at 30-40 and BP, easy overhead in the net.

I think also Roddick had a nightmare similar shot against Raonic, again an easy lay up next to the net and he slapped it 2 meters out (or mb was it Raonic who did that, someone to correct pls)

My favorite is the running backhand when they try to hit it hard down the line to finish the point or get back into it and they end up completely mistiming it. The ball flies straight into the stands and everyone jumps for cover, meanwhile the poor player is trying to unravel himself without face-planting into the ground (bonus points for one-handers there).
