Really good returning from Robin today. Nothing can stop him from winning his third title of the year.

Llodra has been a pretty big MUG this year.

Ranking must be getting to him head.

Don't worry Mika you will be back down there soon.

Pathetic effort from Llodra after wasting 5 BP in the 1st set

Result never in doubt here though, why else would Llodra wear a white shirt?

Llodra came out pretty cocky and confident, but that was blown away pretty fast.. Robin read his serve like an open book, it was a pleasure to watch.

Lllodra blows 5bps in first two games.

Llodra gives away poor break next game, some just dreadful suicide approaches there.

Llodra tanks the rest of the match.

Funny start to the second set, Llodra doublefaults, leaves a ball that was clearly going in, pops a halfvolley up so high it almost hits the roof, then on bp tries another halfvolley that goes about 20cm.

Llodra started off with 4 bp in the 1st game, and 1 bp in Soderlings 2nd service game. After that, it was all Soderling.

Very solid performance.

Llodra started off with 4 bp in the 1st game, and 1 bp in Soderlings 2nd service game.

For me it's a sign of maturity, an ability to keep the focus from the beginning. All the best players in the world possess it, that's one of the things which separate them from the others. Sloppy players treat the first games as a lengthened warm up, while the best know that breaks at the beginning frequently make a difference at the end.

Yes, he's very stable nowadays, doesn't get flustered much. Was playing horribly at the start too, doublefaults and errors.

Llodra totally blew this though, 7 games in a row after missing the 5th breakpoint. Quite, quite pathetic.

Flukerling? Are you a moron? "Fedal" is more a fluke than Soderking will ever be. Only brainless Nadull/Fedtards would use that retarded term.

hahah you are definately the moron here calling Rafa and Rodge a fluke.. Flukerling will have to leave his spot in the top 5 for the one and only who belongs there next to Rafa Roger Nole and Murray.
that´s the one and oonly Juan Martin del Goato

Soderling is way too good for Llodra, pretty much can't be beaten by anyone out of the Big 5 atm.

Soderling was devastating. Anything in his hitting zone and Llodra didn't stand a chance. He might as well have pointed exactly to where he was serving on the AD-side of the court...it was pretty obvious his intentions when he stood wide to serve, and Soderling was quick to pounce on the backhand down the line time after time.

Some laughably poor touch shots by Llodra at times. Not sure whether he had practically given up, or whether he was suffering a migraine/sight issues (rubbed his head a few times). Probably the former.

this result shocks me considering his illness and his usual struggling against Llodra. Good chances for another indoor.

By far the best player in the draw: easy 3rd title of the year.

Funny thing is, he'll be 20 points behind Murray in the race, despite 3 titles and Aussie Open 4th round....4 tournaments, still behind Murray. The points system is stupid, I'm not complaining though. Both will end the year in the top 5 anyway.

Its still better than the WTA system where the player with 2 Slams and the YEC isnt #1... Pity they cant find some sort of equilibrium between Slams and smaller tournaments.

Yay, 'overrated, not deserving of #4' Mr. Söderling! :rocker2:
Keep it going, mate.

 Llodra. Still one of the most entertaining players out there with his S/V-style, but no match to the Sod today.

Excellent returning today by Robin, who was untouchable once he got rolling. :worship: Now take the title you legend.

He's always been a mug. Nostalgic people simply try to make him seem better than he is because he plays an archaic style of tennis.

Llodra is a very good double player who takes himself for a single player...
When you see all the majot titles he won in double and all the small tourneys he won in single...he should stay away single and concentrate on double. It's obvious that he'll never win a 500 pts or a MS but he still can win a GS in double with Zim
