Another loss for overrated Gulbis who won't defend his only title (Delray Beach) next week...
I suppose that he will lose in Dubai first round also ?

Finally his points will drop off and he will be ranked by his abilities.

Good win against a tough match up. But I'm surprised he was trying, this draw is way too tough for a mickey mouse event. Not worth fighting in such a tournament, when you know you are going to lose the 2R or QF anyway.

Can't believe Roger, even in a slump, could lose to this guy.

Ernie pulled out of Rotterdam with a fever illness. Maybe he hasn't recovered? Either way I agree that he should have played LA, Memphis, Delray instead of staying in Europe. Much better chance to defend his points.

This must be the biggest piece of bullshit I've ever read  Just because Ernests is playing like utter shit now doesn't mean he was playing like utter shit this time last year :retard: Just look at all the other mugs your beloved Roger has lost to for fuck's sake.

GM is full of bullshit. The stand out posts are the few that are not bullshit.;)

Some credit has to be given to Petzschner here. He can always play solidly but manages to throw away so many matches he should win. Also, I think winning that doubles title with Melzer in Rotterdam did him many favours.

I wouldn't write off Gulbis just yet, though.

Gulbis will have more fun outdoors I guess. Obviously courts like this are great for his serve, but he can't really bring the forehand into play at all on a quicker court, just sprays errors.

Miami/IW might be nice for him.

Gulbis doesn't need the money. He only plays for fun.

Gulbis hates tennis, he certainly isn't playing "for fun".
