Everytime when u hear highlights, videos and so forth its british guys with the commantry. ATP WTF is in London aswell.
i started to follow tennis when robin soderling beat rafael nadal 2009. before that i had never visit atp website. but im just wondering, have the brits always been so much of control of ATP? i mean todays video highlights of yesterdays matches in rotterdam, they talked about murray, murrays conqurer, murrays double match and so on.... but how was it before andy murray hit the scene?

im really annoyed that murray is giving so much room on the website and by the commantators that have the job to be neutral, but still goes for murrays favor everytime! except jason goodall <3

Commentators are affiliated with TV stations doing the coverage. It has nothing to do with ATP. If I make highlights of a amtch on Croatian television, you'll hear the glorious Mićo, instead of Brits ;)

It's because the ATP executive offices are in London. It's not owned by us but by necessity most of the people who work there are probably British I suppose.

Maybe it's because English is the lingua franca of our times?

The main interviewer on ATP videos is Australian (and a tool)

"Murray" as he came to be known was actually born Andrei Murovic in a village outside Belgrade and was smuggled into Britain aged 5 after showing some early promise.

We tried to do the same with Djokovic when he was 17, but got rumbled. Noddy Dickens was be his nom de tennis.

What on earth does who does the commentary even have to do with who owns the ATP?

brits cant play the sport so they need some involvement with the sport, thus putting their clown commentators in tournaments.

Even their website is written in english. They aren't even trying to hide this british dominance!

Well, Britain is very important tennis nation despite lack of good players. They have most prestigious tournament after all.
