Decent enough match.

Tomas was solid throughout, very good on serve, just that one game in the second set where he was broken at love, but Dima did play well that game to get the break.

Good effort from Tursunov right throughout, he was under more pressure on serve but came up with the goods in the second and third sets until right at the end.

Huuu. Really huge match. I don't thought Berdych can win. :D :bounce:

GREAT match. Tomas finally starting to impress me again. Dima a loser as always...good riddance

Berdych won 90% of his first serves, so as you say he served very well. Their playing styles are similar and the conditions suited both of them, so it was about execution - the difference was that Berdych returned slightly better overall and Tursunov was a little more error-prone in the important moments.

Berdych-Tsonga QF - they've never played each other in a tour-level match!

Good to see Dima getting back to some sort of form - he played a good match today and held up well under the pressure - against a less solid player today he might have won but Tomas didn't give him very much.

Quality match. The level was really high throughout, some very good serving and baselining from both.

Tursunov is back, he's in good shape and hitting the ball well, I can definitely see a Top40 finish this year for him. There wasn't much difference between the two, just that Berdych returned a bit better and was generally more consistent from the baseline although on some break points he played tentatively and hit a few UE's.

Only concern was Dima rolled his right ankle a bit towards the end of the first set but it didn't seem to hamper him for the rest of the match.

Very Berdy that he serves huge all match, has only a single bp against him ..... and doublefaults.

Good match though.

From what I saw, Dima seems to be getting back on track. Nice :yeah:. Always liked him.

Tursunov's talent should have yielded more success although there's no doubt injuries have played a big part.
