Great serving from Dolgo, good from RRH. Relatively average match outside of the serve for both players, but Dolgo hit some flashy winners to get breaks in both sets.

He looked really relaxed out there, a good sign. Hope he has a good run.

For Dolgo it was the first clay court match since July, 2010
And finally, I hope, we saw the real Dolgo weight of 71 kg (instead previous 87kg) on SB :))

The more he fights, the better. On with Starace/Mayer now.

"Plus, the players have given him a great nickname, the 'Dog'. Whether he is called that because his family name is hard to pronounce, or because he plays like a dog, nobody knows for sure"

I believe that Dolgo "The Dog" polov will be a massive threat on clay.

Yes he will, Nadull tard. Major threat. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as a top 6-10 clay courter by the spring.

Match result thread titles should always have real and full name of players... at least the family name

02-09-2011, 09:03 PM
What a shite nickname. Dolgo is much better. :D

02-09-2011, 10:59 PM
The dog??

Yeah a female one. What he is doing playing on the atp tour i don't know. Cant see him being a big time player ever, too many cons and chinks in his game which he wont improve.

02-09-2011, 11:28 PM
Well played, Dog

good win for the locally trained Dog!
