Absolutely pathetic. Cilic played bad, even by his recent standards, and still 2 and 4 loss?
Say bye to the top 16 after RG....

Huge win for Cilic

Melzer looked like a sissy when he threw his racket at 3-3 in the 2nd set :haha:

Bob Brett is with Cilic at this tournament.

Apparently he realized that he has to resuscitate some tennis out of Sillych.

Meltzdown is a huge mug, any day he loses is a good day for tennis even if it's to Mugin Cilic. One of those matches in which both players losing should be an option.

4:2 prior to the match, but it was hard to see and a huge win, right.

Very poor quality of tennis, and very poor atmosphere (not the crowd, but the overall energy). Melzer played like someone injured so hopefully he gets better soon if that is the case. Cilic with a cakewalk into the QF.

Bob Brett is useless.

Good win for Marin but still far from his old form. Meltzer was awful today. Not a bad draw so he can reach semis or final here.

Semi or final? LOL.

He'll go out to Troicki or Shark. He isn't in any form to beat a high level player. Time to drop the expectations, Cilic fans.

Good win for Cilic :) Melzer was definitely subpar but that was predictable after seeing his first round match; not sure what sort of injury he might have, I couldn't really tell.

I think the fast conditions are really helping the big servers/aggressive players - we'll probably see Soderling and Cilic/Troicki as the top half semi-finalists, then we have Berdych, Tsonga, Ljubicic, Tursunov, Lopez in the mix in the other half (though Murray of course remains favourite in his quarter).

Man, you are a good poster in general, but this is just nonsense. Sure Cilic can lose to anyone, but QF draw couldnt be any better for him.

Cilic never in doubt, he likes to play Juergen who is in even worse form then Marin; up against another player he fancies playing; Troicki should not be too much of a task
