Good on Marcel to almost take that second set, but Misha is just on a different level on these courts. Good win for Colonel.

Granollers is an extremely similar player to WTA player Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez. Just like her, he's best on slower/medium HC, like Valencia, or quicker clay courts. Courts like this are too fast for him to play his game successfully.

So, that's what his best chances are to win. A lot of people have debated if he should play the Euro HC season, but he's probably better on hard than clay, so yes. But the best option would have been the American indoor season.

:) You are right. I noticed Marcel plays near Europe always. Maybe he don't like travelling. :)
