same here, but federer really needs to raise up his game to have any chance. of course, he's very much capable of doing that.

I'm on too, just to see Mugray down, until he meets Rafa.

Then, he'll be sodomized.

Just can't see anyone beating Murray

I already read this shit so many times.

And this mug never had the balls to put an effort and take the fuckin Slam.

Mugray will defer to Nadal in SF, book it.

Nadal will crush him like in Wimb last year, SF, str8s.

Nadal is 25-0 in Grand Slam matches while wearing his Richard Mille watch. Who would bet against 28-0?

Murray or Federer, imo

I've been on that bandwagon a while now, waiting for it to spark. Finally it does and he plays my fave. Christ..

Anyway, Murray etc.

With Rafa getting healtier in each and every day after his illness, he has more chance after every round than anybody on tour... Therefore i voted for Rafa.

However i expect Murray vs. Nadal and Joker vs. Stan ! SF's.

If we look at the other players:

Murray: only about 20 games lost in 4 matches = Incredible performance
If he plays like last year QF against Nadal, he has a decent chance to win his first GS.

Djokovic: Good serve,he is well rested, return and backhand great as usual

Wawrinka: He is playing his best tennis ever in 5 years, also he's got more confidence than ever going into the QF against Fed.He has a decent chance there to upset the GOAT.However to win a GS he is not ready yet.

I voted Murray because he looks to be in the best form. I'm more than aware that I could be proven wrong, however. Lol.

Dolgopolov, beating Wawrinka in the final!

I think Federer will win. Despite not being in his best form, he wants this slam badly. I can't see him losing to anybody on his side of the draw and the likelihood that Nadal-Murray will got to 5 sets means that he'll probably have a tired opponent in the final.

Still it's close. Federer, Murray, Nadal, Djokovic, Berdych, Wawrinka, Dolgopolov, Ferrer in that order imo

Winner of Nadal/Murray will be nice and rested from walking on cake the rest of the way so should win, it'd be laughable if they didn't

It'd be nice to have a guy like Wawa or Ferrer win, but I really can't see it happening.

1. Nadal (only player who can realistically beat him is Murray)
2. Murray (if he beats Nadal he'll probably be ready to finally bag a slam)
3. Federer (horrible form here so far, but wins if he can find his WTF form)
4. Djokovic (unlikely, but has at least beaten all of the top 3 contenders several times)
5. Berdych (if his big game is on he can beat anyone, but isn't consistent enough to go through both Djokovc, Federer and Nadal/Murray)
6. Wawrinka (playing possibly the tennis of his life. Could well upset Federer)
7. Dolgopolov (talented, but far too inexperienced)
8. Ferrer (is thoroughly owned by all the top players. Not a chance)

To choose a favorite is not so simple, it needs to take into account matchups
Assuming Nadal-Murray and Djoker-Fed semis, here is my analysis (though it is possible that Wawa or Berdych is in it)

1) If nadal wins semis, he wins final
2) If murray wins semis, faces djoker, Murray wins final
3) If Fed wins, doesn't face Nadal, he will win final
4) Even if djoker wins semis, he will probably not will final

I was a bit unsure about djoker..but now i am
djoker has lost his last three matches to murray in hard...dats something
and djoker i thought djoker had a good chance against rafa in new york..but nadal likes this surface more so i highly doubt that djoker can win against rafa in melbourne..

Agreed with *Brahmin, it all depends now on the match-ups.

So if we get a Rafa vs. Muzza SF, and a Nole vs. Roger SF, this is how I think it will play out:

Rafa beats Muzza, he wins the title (can't see Roger or Nole beating Rafa over 5 sets)
Muzza beats Rafa, he will finish runner-up (Roger has his number in grand slam finals, and Nole's more aggressive game will pay dividends I think)

Roger beats Nole, if he faces Muzza in the final, Roger wins, congrats defending champ :hatoff:, if he faces Rafa, he will lose once again
Nole beats Roger, if he faces Muzza in the final, I think Nole wins, if Nole faces Rafa, sorry I don't see much chance for him (not mentally nor physically tough enough to beat Rafa over 5 sets)

Somehow I get the feeling JesusFed will show up against Wawa and then will go on to crush whoever will be in his way in the semi and final.

Funny how Federer is not leading this poll this time.

But he had some words to say about what's next:

ROGER FEDERER: Well, I think Andy and Novak are playing extremely well, and thatís why Iím not really looking very far ahead here. Rafa, myself; Robin is playing well; Roddick seems like heís in form; Stan, same thing; Berdych hasnít dropped a whole lot of sets or games.

I think really the top seeds here again are showing that theyíre above the rest a bit at the moment still. Interesting second week, I think. Yeah, I donít think Iíll be looking too far ahead here.
