No more games for Milos

Way too raw still, but a great experience for the maple leaf.

68 unforced errors to ferrer's 10, milos should be happy with that scoreline.

Milos will win many more games soon enough, great run.

Hope David can play well against Nadal.

It was bound to come to an end eventually. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of Raonic in the future. Pics always fights, awesome!

Raonic played up and down. Still isnt too bad against a top 10 player! Come on, Raonic won a game, even a set!

Milos.

Bright future for this kid. He will be a beast at Wimbledon.

Ferrer was Ferrer, great returning and ballstriking.

Fantastic tournament for Milos, he should be very proud. :worship: The match was really decided by all those missed break point opportunities in that third set by Milos. Ferrer was a beast at getting alot of bombs back in play. Still, a great year ahead for him. :yeah:

Milos played as well as he could be expected to, he still needs some mental strength and stamina to be a top gun, but the strokes and the tactics are all there, you could see he was dead on court trying to keep up with Mr I never give up Ferrer ;)

Bright future for this kid if he keeps up like this, maybe this is the breakthrough tournament youngsters needed? seems like the next generation is coming over :yeah:

Pics was very focussed and didn't allow the match to slip from his grasp once he got it :)

He gave Ferrer INvaluable experience for heavy serves. Ferrer will use this game as experience against Nadal/Cilic.

Ferrer just too experienced for the young guns. Still amazing how he lost that fivesetter to Nishikori.

Too good from Pics.

Milos can take away a lot from this experience. Can't wait to see him playing in San Jose.

 It was a great result for Milos. Another game for him.

Ferrer keeps grinding matches and matches with that awfully dull gamestyle.

More interesting than watching ace after ace after ace.

Beast! Just 10 UEs in the whole match :worship:

If he keeps this up and Nadal gets tested against Cilic, I can actually see it happen...

Ferrer was returning very well as always, and Milos started to make way too many errors after the 1st set. Good showing though, the commentators kept saying he was like Philippoussis, but I would compare him mmore to someone like Ancic (before he lost his power on the ground).

I think this is David's best chance to beat Rafa at a slam again

Maybe for someone who doesn't know much about tennis.

Hats off to Raonic, kid has a bright future, great serve, he should use the kick wide out way more, he can create great angels, very solid bh down the line, fh needs more precision, and the net game will come for sure with the experience...

Nice win Pics!!! :yeah:, we will be seeing more of Raonic- good run for him here.

All the best to Pics against Rafa or Cilic, and he's back in a grand slam QF at Aus Open. (last time was in 2008 where Nole beat him in straights)

Ferrer is simple to consistent for him still.. He need little more time, but if he continue like this we don't need to worry for his future :)

Too bad the serve deserted Milos today, of all days, when he had the chance to go to the quarterfinal.. but I have to say that I am really pleased he got this far! Not often you see a qualifier getting to R4 of a slam! This guy will be big in the future, he has some aspects in his game that he needs to improve, but I'm sure he will. He hasn't fully developed his game yet. Besides.. he's still so young, only 20 years old. His serve is massive (well, maybe not today), and he is very strong mentally.

I think he was tired today.. he seemed a bit emotionally and physically drained, and I kinda had a feeling that here is where it would end for him. Good run nontheless. What I think is nice is how much this means to both him and to Canada. Hopefully this will give him a confidence boost as well! I hope this means that Canada finally has a top tennis player, and I would like to see the sport grow even more over there too. Will be exciting how he does in the future tournaments! He got a WC to San José, so people are obviously noticing him, which is nice :) He was even trending on Twitter! :D

Having such a strong serve will ensure relatively easy rise up the rankings like with Isner so he can focus on the rest of the game improvements.

It's tough to say whether or not he'll be a top player. Big serve he does have, but so does Isner, and it hasn't helped him make the top 10. At his age Murray and Djokovic were already among the best.

Well said. I'd expect him to ace it up in Wimbledon. Grass will suit his style of play. Also, great court-sense and good angles, and great maturity. A little nervous today after losing the second set, but he's got it in his mind. Expect a breakthrough 2011 from this kid.

Hats off to Raonic, kid has a bright future, great serve, he should use the kick wide out way more, he can create great angels, very solid bh down the line, fh needs more precision, and the net game will come for sure with the experience...

He's God as well?

Are you kidding me? Ferrer runs down everything as it is. He shouldn't even have lost a set to a newbie on the block.

So what?

Have you ever heard about "late bloomers"?

And not only the top 10 are top players...

Judging by his level right now he is going to have to do a lot of "late blooming". As for the second part, top 10 aren't the top? Then who is, players ranked in the 50's? Hilarious

If Raonic were such an all-court player he would have figured out a way to make this more competitive after his serve abandoned him. As it seems now, his serve basically won him a set and that's it.
