In the draw thread a lot of people where thinking that Murray had a tough draw. I think part of this was due to the 8th above him. I said in the draw thread that I thought Melzer would come through that part of the draw and indeed he has.

I also said that Murray has a pretty good record against him and I think Andy will win in 3 comfortable sets.

It's been a great draw for Andy so far and considering he's No. 5, he got the easiest QF opponent he could get if he gets past Melzer.

Onwards and upwards for Mr Murray. I think he'll take the title this year.

Oh no. Peak Murray is vulnerable to any aggressive player having a good day. And remember these two haven't played in a while, and Murray already had trouble with him when he was at his peak (USO 2008) and Melzer was far from it. So it will definitely be a very difficult match for Murray to push through.

Murray wasn't at his peak in the US Open match. In fact, Murray hasn't reached his peak yet.

Murray will win this fairly easily, maybe it'll be a 4 setter.

Murray should definitely come out in 3. He needs to use this time to practice and unleash some heavy forehands on Melzer, in order to warm himself up for a possible Soderling arrival.

Andy in 4 methinks and mehopes. Really needs to face some adversity and get used to handling it a bit more before battling the big guns later in the tournament.
