Should be a close one. I take Delpo though - mental toughness should put him through.

I vote for Baggy in 5, but I don't know. Will be close match I think.

Marcos should take this, but he had a long 1st round so who knows. Hoping for a competitive one anyway, it's nice to see Del Po back.

Should be close. Let's hope for a good match.

Looking at the matches from the top half of the draw for second round this match deserves the night session on center court. They might give it to Nadal but certainly this is the more exciting match.
Baghdatis struggled today while with Del Potro u never know how his consistency will be.I will give this match to Baghdatis if it goes to 5 sets.

Baggy's power is highly limited after slimming down, his strokes are less harmful than a decent WTA shots. I think Del Po should be able to overpower Marcos, and it won't take 5 sets.

This is a very hard one to pick, but I'm giving Delpo the slight edge after watching him yesterday.

Would like to see JMDP vs. Murray in 4R.

Do you REALLY think this applies to men as well?
I know in the past women have gotten fitter and lost pace on their strokes, it doesnt seem to affect men the same way.
Fish comes to mind, as well as Roddick, even though in ROddick's case he seemed to have lost all his ground stroke pace after his US Open win.

Hmmm, Pony, how many sets it takes.

Vamos!

Baghdatis' last chance to redeem himself as a player is to win this one against a resurgent Potro. But he lost to an ailing Agassi in USO 06....what's to say he'd not show more of that gesture.
'Come Potro, let me help you get more confidence.'

Delpo shouldn't be ready for a big scalp yet. But if Marcos plays like he did in the 4th set, he won't win...

Arghhh!!! An early match between two of my favourites...well I'm hoping Delpo wins this one, don't know how many sets. Should be a good match, just great to see Delpo back, good luck to both. :D

Del Potro in 4 sets, he has better fighting spirit and strong mental during key points, his huge power strokes will give him the advantage if Baghdatis plays too shy

This should be the RLA night match, but no doubt they'll put on the Nadal non-event or Tomic vs Feli.

Delpo in 4

Unless Del potro has imrpoved a lot since last week, I think Baghdatis will win, easily.

Baghdatis realistically speaking should take it, he's in shape and also a very accurate player. Given that he's been playing shit at the slams, and can tend to be a lazy prick, I'm going with Del Potro's mental toughness.

I'm picking up Potro in 5 sets. Although its risky to go that far, Potro will probably attempt to close it out on 4. I just feel Baggy will push him to 5 given that he's known to fight back from being behind.

Potro in 5 with some awesome cross court forehands being traded back and forth.

Sela was no slouch in that first set, and Delpo won it. I didn't see Baggy's match but he sounded like he started awfully. I'd guess Delpo in 4, but who knows which of them be more consistent on the day  [/fence sitter]

I want Del Potro to win so badly. He'd gain so much confidence from such a win :yeah: Head says he nails it in 4.

Pony in 4. It would be good for Pony if he got to play Murray in the 4th round.

What's so good about that? Mugza will probably triple bagel him.

Hopefully third night in a row we will see a 5 setter.Baghdatis should be more fit if the match goes the distance

Shocked and delighted that the organisers made the right decision and put this as the primetime match on RLA. With a view to the winners chances in the next round, it's probably best that this one doesn't go to 5, but a high quality 4 setter instead.

Neither player has great fitness, and would probably struggle against Melzer if this does go the distance.
