Have a good night all- off to dinner with the office staff. Maybe Brokeback Mountain although I am not sure I want to be out that late.

Oh my gosh... my roommate just dragged me to the mall after class to buy an outfit for this date and it was the speediest most frenzied shopping trip ever. Thank goodness I was there because I stopped her from buying about 700 things she did not need...

While in American Eagle I spotted a billion things I want. I don't think I can possibly get all of them so I desperately need everyone's opinions of what they like the best out of the attached pictures :p I'm a little bit partial to the striped one just because I know "sailor" is going to be in... but the brown skirt is so feminine and cute, the dress is cute, and the mini skirt is so basic. So opinions please!

I just don't know what's going on with myself you know, one day I'm happy and all cheered up and next thing I know I'm crying over who knows what. I just can't help it, I hate having these moods swings.

I feel I simply don't care about anything anymore. Everything, my life, has come downhill since.. July, when my brother left after staying with us for a few weeks. I've never had the chance to say "Wow, I feel truly happy." ever since then. And I'm tired of trying... I just don't care anymore about stuff I should care about. Maybe I'm not meant to be truly happy.

Oh Caro- a young person's angst- depression for sure but can't tell you more than that as I can't recognize through a computer the exact highs and lows that you are experiencing. But you are not alone. The stresses of life and inconsistencies of getting through your responsibilties will set things off. And I hate to say it but HORMONES influence those highs and lows as well. Some women's PMS is truly a hormonally induced depression. Believe it or not but nonsteriodal meds like Ibuprofen or Naprosyn can help if taken 1 week before due date. ( Brian and SW no reading this ;) )
Anyway I wish I could hug you in real time and not just through a monitor.

I guess that's true indeed... I'm just tired of everything being all shitty you know.

Jess, I think... I mean, I might know, but I don't think I can talk about it here. (safety reasons) It's silly though.
The other thing is well, obviously, my brother. I miss him a lot and I'm still not over the fact he's gone and he has his own life there in Spain and I have mine in Argentina, even if in two days it's gonna be 4 years since he left... everyone has already accepted it, even my mother who suffered a lot but I can't talk about my brother and these kind of stuff without crying. See... here we go... okay I'll stop before I start again haha.

And colbat.. uh... I dont know how to call you. I wish I could spend some time there, it'd be pretty cool to get away from all this shit.

Thanks so much everyone for the advice and just, for listening and actually caring. It means more than you think.

See, I am dress shopping currently for some sort of cute dress.. I fear this one is too casual. There's this BCBG one I am obsessed with that I think I am going to save up for that can be casual if I wear it with some boots or even flipflops depending on the weather or dressy if I pair it with some heels... it totally has some versatility... so since I want THAT dress so badly and I think it will have more use, I am unsure if I want this dress too... this one is a lot more summery and I don't know how warm it will be when I hopefully plan on wearing it :p

Well depends where you want to wear the dress. But if you're already buying a dress I'd go for one of the skirts, honestly. But it all depends on what you will use it for.

Well see, the dress I'm want to get I seriously could wear anywhere. I could wear it to school, I could wear it on a date, I could wear it to the post office, like I think it has soooo many options. The only problem is that it's $178 so I really need to save up for it... but I think it's worth it. BCBG dresses are all gorgeous. It's some sort of rule. But the other one is really cute for more casual purposes... Lucky. :ras: That's true though. But you know, you can't wear the dress like, three times in a week. The skirt instead, you can, if you match it with different shirts and shoes. I just say it might be a bit more useful. But you probably have a denim skirt already. So just buy whatever you like best! (IMO, I think you wanna buy the dress. :p)

I already own three denim skirts :o But none that short :p All my other ones are of the slightly above the knee length (AND I REFUSE TO GET ANOTHER ONE THAT LENGTH).

See I don't know if I want the dress... lol... I mean, I want the expensive dress I'm saving up for.. the dress in the picture I posted I don't know.. I think I'm leaning towards the brown skirt and the sailor-ish skirt at the moment.

Hahaha thanks :) It will make me feel better when the man gets all of my hard earned cash. I kind of want to apply for a job within his company so at least I'll get an employee discount but in order to work in one of his stores you need experience in that type of fashion store, so my Mimi Maternity isn't going to cut it. I'm going to apply for a position at my local Charles David store though, so hopefully after I rock that job for a bit, I can attempt to apply for a BCBG retail job to last me through grad school graduation.

That's why you have to shop the sales.. it's the only way... seriously. The denim gauchos I got (actually are BCBGirls) for $27 and they're usually $98, the jacket I got for $31, usually is $138 (and isn't on sale anymore, so I got it at a lucky time)... the velour track suit I have I got for $30 and it's usually $215.....the white silk shirt I got for $30 and is usually $148.

If I didn't get the stuff on sale, I would never be able to, lol... but I search the sale racks in Macy's and Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor for his stuff OBSESSIVELY so that if anything my size goes on sale I snatch it up instantly. I feel like his stuff is very wearable for a designer.. you don't have to be a crazy fashionista to fit it into your wardrobe. :)

Oh gosh, I am just a bit of a shopaholic... I should just admit it now :o

I'd be a shopaholic if it were my money... but since it's my parents', it's not fair so I try to watch what I buy... although I usually go shopping with my mom. :p

Exactly... we've never edited articles before and he hands us this thing and is just like "Edit this and rewrite it" and we talked in class about not editing too much so that your voice dominates it... so I don't think he really wants me to rewrite it COMPLETELY because this "fake" writer who wrote this sample article is absolute crap, it has no flow... so I rearranged the paragraphs and made a few changes to sentence structure.. nothing major... I hope that's enough.

If it's not, I'll have failed something ELSE! Go me!
