Hanging at home mostly... working ( ).

Our first round is not going to be easy but after a horrible season we went from being a bubble team to an automatic bid and #5 seed. I love it. :rolls: We ended up with the hardest schedule in the country... I mean.. we played UCONN 3 times and 'Nova twice.. that's just not fair to anyone! If we make the Sweet 16 I'll be happy :D

Ahhh...welcome to the NCAAs...and being in a tough conference. We have to play Duke and Carolina twice a year, every year...and then usually come up against one of them in conference tourney play too.

Are you playing in a bracket? Not me. I get to wrapped up in being a State fan and pick them to go all the way.

Haha I am! My mom is running one at work that I'll play in and then I have my own private group on Yahoo for some friends.

I have picked Syracuse to go all the way every year except for this one. It paid off in 2003 but killed me last year when we lost to VERMONT in the first round. That still kind of hurts... lol. This year I have UCONN... as much as I am required to hate them as a Syracuse fan... I have decided to be logical this year :p

Hmmm are we talking pants that are supposed to go over the belly with the panel or pants without a panel that are supposed to sit below the belly.

I think most of our pants that I can think of DO have pockets, but with the pants with panels sometimes I think that designers forget to put them on because on a hanger they would seem really low down but they forget how they actually fit on a woman :p

I think Motherhood pants are guilty of forgetting pockets now that I think of it... I think Mimi does a better job (but unfortunately double the price)... I'm not sure about the Oh Baby or Two Hearts lines.

Oh boy, no comment. Novak is a rollercoaster. I mean, Benneteau was the worst qualifier to get.. he's been getting results, and at least backed up beating Novak with a win over Chela too. I can't even make excuses for Novak anymore except I think he's being poorly managed. He doesn't play nearly enough. He just withdrew from the Sunrise Challenger too... when he lost early in IW I thought, "Thank god he's playing there." and he immediately withdrew.. I was like, "Hmm.. wasn't the point of entering there to PLAY if you lost early?"

He can play when he wants to.. I mean... he always plays Stepanek tough, he beat Henman, he *could* have beaten Ljubicic in Zagreb... I just don't know what his problem is.

I don't know what it is really... but I think there must be someone telling him it's okay to not play that much, and it is... if you're Roger Federer... but if he wants to be ranked above 62 some day... he needs to play more and his constant dropping of tournaments he signs up for is... He never actually has a legitimate excuse for doing so... I sure don't know of one for dropping out of the Sunrise Challenger. He can practice all he wants.. he needs matches. I don't know why no one is telling him this.

Jess was a knowledgeable party...and I didn't want to ask a "stupid" question to a sales clerk who is gushing over a pregnancy that I am mostly ambivalent about (at least at the moment). All-in-all, it's actually rather been a royal pain in the butt (or abdomen to be more precise). I don't find anything mystical about it. In fact, it rather works on your brain...that there's this thing growing inside you...sucking all your nutrients and energy.

Don't get me wrong, this will be a well-loved child...and we certainly knew how to prevent such an issue...but were thoroughly and medically convinced it wasn't really a possibility...so we'd already moved on, mentally, with our lives.

 I meant since Sam's competitor closed at 9:30pm, Sam's can close at 10pm.

I don't have Sam's membership and I have to pay for my Costco but I like the stuff there.

I haven't been horseback riding since I was a kid.

I've been so exhausted today. I only had maybe 5 hours of sleep if I was lucky. I woke up in the middle of the night and ESPN was showing Federer/Rochus so I watched it. Then it took me like 90 minutes to get back to sleep.

Oh I love to ride a horse, but I could never learn to do it correctly  And if you don't ride correctly you get bounced around an awful lot. So after trying lessons at three different places I just finally gave it up.

I love it but my knees hurt after 30 minutes. The horse I rode is a pro, I only need to sit on it. And it follow the leader very well. I occasionally gave it the signal to stop, turn left or right, that's all but most of the time, the horse knew when to stop, when to move and where.

Ugh, I feel so old.... for the 3rd straight day I'm going to go to bed before 11 pm. This is crazy... at school I stay up til 3 or 4 easily and now I'm just so exhausted... I didn't even have work today, but was sick, so I guess that makes up for it. Blah. I just hate going to bed so early :(

Plus I only work for 5 hours tomorrow so I don't get a break.. which sucks.

UGH.. what kind of Spring Break is this? I SO should have just gone to Indian Wells as I had originally wanted to. I would be dancing around about the upsets :D

Saw Company last night, a Sondheim musical about a bachelor with only married friends. Same director as Sweeney Todd in London. Really excellent with the actors also playing multiple musical instruments each! I'm sure it will transfer to Broadway.

What do you mean? I am busy.. that's the problem. I have no time to relax at all on my Spring Break because I have work every day... therefore I can't stay up late at night because I am so tired from work.

The last thing I need is to be busy.

I know a lot of people who did that show back when I was in high school. Never went to see them in it though.

When you're still in Uni, you always have things to do, no matter you have classes or not. Now, you're on Spring Break, other than go to work in the store for a few hours, what else you need to do?

The problem is, you can't totally relax because you have to work in the store but the work doesn't occupy all your time.

May be that's just me. If I have a day full of things to do, I will be very energetic because I know I need the energy. If I have a day that I have nothing but routine stuff to do, I will be fine too. But if I have a day that need like 3 to 4 hours of work and then that's it, I'll be totally, absolutely drained.

I do very very very little when I'm at school. Besides classes I sit around on MTF all day.

And the work occupies enough of my time... I can't relax at all on my "vacation". It's not like I only go to work for 3 hours. It's 7 or 8. I would much prefer when on vacation to have the time to read a book or watch a movie.

I am actually. I don't study for tests, I hardly do any of the readings  I'm a very lazy student. I don't think I've ever pretended otherwise.

Well Spring Break IS a vacation. If this isn't my vacation then I just don't get one... I don't think that's any better. College students across the nation are off partying and getting drunk on a beach somewhere and all I want is the time to read a book.

It's okay. It was just one thing after another :(

I go to work, my manager is snappy, I am trying to work AND converse (because I can MULTITASK) with another worker who worked with me last summer but she left because she got an office job, but now she's back too... so I hadn't seen her since August or so... so I was attempting to talk AND unpack the totes... something we ALWAYS do, but Gwendolyn was in a freaked out type mood because our District Manager the evil Eileen is coming tomorrow (she comes every week, so I don't know what the big deal is about TOMORROW). So Gwen freaked out on us, then Amanda and I were left with tons of work to do in order to get the store ready. We left late... after 10, and I was already mad because Syracuse's game was supposed to start at 9:30 (luckily it started late, but I didn't know this at the time). We had to mop the floors, and since the vaccuum was broken I had to go around the entire store with the freaking DUSTBUSTER. Not only all this but I get the joy of working with Eileen tomorrow. Joy. So I speed home, just in time for Syracuse to suck. We lost in the effing first round. So typical. The man I have loved, Syracuse University has loved, and Scranton and Syracuse have loved, Gerry McNamara could barely play at all because he was injured. He carried our team last week and didn't make a single basket today. It was the first time in his entire career he didn't get a basket. The first time--and it was his last game.

THEN.... I come online and see that I missed Adam's return

AND Roger Federer couldn't even do me a favor and lose today...wtf!

savesthedizzle
03-17-2006, 04:33 AM
Oh let me also just say... I also had to clean the BATHROOMS at work today. Ugh. Amanda cleaned our bathroom, and I had to clean the one for public use. That is always fun and enjoyable as well.

"I feel great about (my final game)," McNamara said. "We lost, probably because of me. I feel great about it."

= heartbreaking  G-Mac NEVER talks that bitterly. That is the worst possible way that boy could have ended his career after all he has meant to us. The worst possible way. I almost wish we just didn't get into the tournament somehow and he could have ended his career last week. He didn't deserve yesterday.

If you have time, please fill in this fan survey from the ATP - its really not a fan survey - they want to see about beer, betting, and liquor sponsorships. But there is a comment sections: two things that would be nice to mention in that section are more live feeds and live tickers that actually work. Probably won't help but at least they'll have to read them and will know what we think of the crappy job they are doing. ;)

They broke the back passenger vent window and just rummaged through everything in the glove compartment etc... They didn't take anything, which is just weird. But, a car was stolen from the apartment building right next door, so I got off lucky!! It is more of just a pain to get it fixed and money I don't have. But...such is life!

Yes, that's a real pain. I once made the mistake to leave my car in a downtown parking lot where I parked my car when I went to work. It was broken into and the driver's side door lock was damaged. And since there's nothing valuable to steal in my car, the kids got nothing and I was left to fix the lock.
