Joshua Sapwell

Just getting a thread started for another of our promising juniors, Joshua Sapwell, who won the 14&U Orange Bowl just before Christmas.

This week Joshua was in Zurich, taking part in a mixed senior/junior competition. Just a few days past his 15th birthday, he took nine games off the world junior no.5 and a set off the world junior no.4. Partnering Thomas Muster in the doubles, he beat Mark Philippoussis and his young partner Dimitri Bretting but lost to Goran Ivanisevic and Mate Pavic.
