WWW Paris R2: Nalbandian vs Murray?Orka_n 11-09-2010, 11:53 AM Awesome R2 showdown. Murray will have a stern test in his first match. I'll go with my heart and say Nalby in 3. You can do it, chief! :rocker2: Sham Kay 11-09-2010, 11:54 AM Andy in 2. Not easy at all. nalbyfan 11-09-2010, 11:59 AM If David could play like in 2008 quarter.. but his 2010 level is not as good as in 2008 and Muray improved so I'm afraid this time Murray should win harman99 11-09-2010, 12:09 PM Murray win 6-1, 6-2 Come on Andy!!! _Chaz 11-09-2010, 12:15 PM Actually I wanted to vote "Nalbandian in 3" but voted for Andy in 3 instead :o tennishero 11-09-2010, 12:22 PM this comes down to how well nalbandian serves as usual. i give nalbandian the edge for this one. Allez 11-09-2010, 12:36 PM Andy is a Nalbandian killer. That's not going to change her. He cleans up in two. Topspindoctor 11-09-2010, 12:36 PM I hope Nalbandian sends this pusher packing. Persimmon 11-09-2010, 01:36 PM Andy in 2. Everko 11-09-2010, 01:38 PM Tennis loses either way or wins if you look at from the losing point of view Start da Game 11-09-2010, 01:47 PM king david has to serve really well if he is to win this one........ Blackbriar 11-09-2010, 02:11 PM Murray beats Nadal in straight. there's no way Nalbandian can do that, he is done for top level (losing against Simon was the bottom of the pit) Andy in straight. guichard 11-09-2010, 02:25 PM Andy in 2 hicdick 11-09-2010, 02:27 PM should be a good one. hopefully nalby wins but i think murray might be too tough. murray in 3. Sonja1989 11-09-2010, 02:36 PM I'm afraid Murray. Corey Feldman 11-09-2010, 03:29 PM does Nalbandian get on well with Nadal ?? probably Murray will let him win then to keep his big mate happy Aenea 11-09-2010, 03:32 PM This is the only match from round 2 which I am looking forward to. So far the tournament has been very boring, no exciting matches, no emotions at all. Hopefully those two produce a really good match. I think Andy will win but if Bandy takes it I won't be disappointed. fast_clay 11-09-2010, 03:43 PM yeah.. hopefully they both bring their A-games cos this could be a blockbuster finishingmove 11-09-2010, 04:24 PM Murray will win... Sapeod 11-09-2010, 04:28 PM Murray. LOL @ people hoping Nalbandian wins...HAHA, haters  Iván 11-09-2010, 04:48 PM Its Paris So Bandy To Test Him Big Time samanosuke 11-09-2010, 04:49 PM routine for Murray . Nalby isn't ready for big win Blackbriar 11-09-2010, 05:08 PM Nalbandian lost against Simug, he is done for professional tennis. Guga_fan 11-09-2010, 05:25 PM this comes down to how well nalbandian serves as usual. i give nalbandian the edge for this one. No, it doesn't. Despite being a fan of David I don't think he stands a chance, since his comeback he's been making many more UEs, and there's no way you're gonna beat Murray like this. philosophicalarf 11-09-2010, 05:30 PM Anyone's guess which Murray turns up. Surely atm his eye his firmly on London though, I don't think he'll have overmuch ambition this week until/if he reaches the semis. This is different from their Canada meeting though, Nalby won't have to hit anywhere near as many shots to win a rally. Fewer shots = fewer UEs. Paris two years ago was also hard to assess. Murray had won cinci, then went to US Open final, then a gap. Then won Madrid and St Pete's back to back, so went into Paris with not too much in the tank. Could be a great match to watch either way. freeandlonely 11-09-2010, 05:36 PM Go Nalby. tennishero 11-09-2010, 07:05 PM Murray. LOL @ people hoping Nalbandian wins...HAHA, haters  Refer to 2008 match, Murray left kneeling on the floor. Nalbandian lost against Simug, he is done for professional tennis. Do you have a crystal ball? Nalbandian had 20 chances to seal that match, just a minor loss. Considering he hasn't played that much tennis this season, wait for him to find his rythm. No, it doesn't. Despite being a fan of David I don't think he stands a chance, since his comeback he's been making many more UEs, and there's no way you're gonna beat Murray like this. He played well in his last match, I don't think he wants an early exit again. Murray lost to Monaco lol. henke007 11-09-2010, 07:10 PM Fat Dave to save tennis in str8s ImmzB 11-09-2010, 07:24 PM D.Nalbandian in 3. Seingeist 11-09-2010, 07:35 PM Only in the Twilight Zone of MTF does this voting make any sense. Orka_n 11-09-2010, 08:04 PM Murray. LOL @ people hoping Nalbandian wins...HAHA, haters :lol:MTF likes Nalbandian more than Murray, this is how it is and not something to whine about. You call everyone that doesn't love Murray "hater". That's ridiculous. Sapeod 11-09-2010, 08:13 PM Refer to 2008 match, Murray left kneeling on the floor. 2008? You mean 2 years ago? Refer to Toronto 6-2 6-2 thrashing. MTF likes Nalbandian more than Murray, this is how it is and not something to whine about. You call everyone that doesn't love Murray "hater". That's ridiculous. Of course they do, they hate Murray because they think he's ugly, foul mouthed, dull etc. All these people are haters  Most of the Nalbandian votes are wishful thinking. Mechlan 11-09-2010, 08:14 PM Hopefully Nalbandian really brings it. Orka_n 11-09-2010, 08:20 PM Of course they do, they hate Murray because they think he's ugly, foul mouthed, dull etc. All these people are haters :shrug:Come on now, everyone has a few players they "hate" - you dislike Nadal for example. That doesn't automatically make you a hater. If you think so then you haven't understood the word. A hater is a troll who does NOTHING but proclaim their hatred of a certain thing (or person), and does it as loudly as possible in order to annoy others. Most of the Nalbandian votes are wishful thinking.Probably, but that mindset is very much allowed and practiced on MTF. Again, not something to whine about. Haelfix 11-09-2010, 08:31 PM This is a terrible matchup for Nalbandian. Its hard for me to find a player in the league that is worse on paper than Murray is for him game wise. No!), his looks or his attitude (apprently he's a depressed foul mouthed brat ) which is a load of crap, because he isn't ugly, he isn't a a pusher, and he's not a depressed, foul mouthed brat.......it's stupid. Just saying, most of the votes against Murray in any match (bar other top players) are mostly wishful thinking. Sapeod 11-09-2010, 08:59 PM You think it's stupid, yes. Fact is they have a different opinion than you and you need to accept that instead of getting angry every single time and calling them cheap names like "hater". Angry? No, not at all. kyleskywalker007 11-09-2010, 09:13 PM You think it's stupid, yes. Fact is they have a different opinion than you and you need to accept that instead of getting angry every single time and calling them cheap names like "hater". Why trying to explain things when evidently they produce no effect? According to this poster, saying "I hope Nalbandian wins" is a statement only a hater could make. Hasn´t it crossed his mind maybe the person who wants nalbandian to win is either his fan, or likes him better or feels he is the lesser of two evils? tennishero 11-09-2010, 11:23 PM I'm just saying, mnost people hate Murray because of his game (pusher? Just look and listen to him. rocketassist 11-09-2010, 11:25 PM Murray probably, but he wouldn't ever beat A game Nalbandian. tennishero, again showing why tying up and gagging was invented. Filo V. 11-09-2010, 11:26 PM Murray should take this in a match similar to the one in Toronto. Lukenole 11-09-2010, 11:26 PM Murray in 2. :( Haasi 11-09-2010, 11:45 PM Murray the M1000 GOAT in 2 :(:(:( fast_clay 11-10-2010, 12:35 AM Console Tennis - Paris 2008 LbtwuiQgOJg Clay Death 11-10-2010, 12:59 AM too tough to call. nalFATian has so much talent. he can derail anyone on indoor hard courts at times. coonster14 11-10-2010, 02:58 AM Will be a good match to watch. Don't really care who wins to be honest. meigui1990 11-10-2010, 05:27 AM Andy in 2 or Nalby in 3 shiaben 11-10-2010, 05:32 AM Nalbandian will be motivated and come hard with a game plan after losing to Murray several times. However, I think Murray will hold him down and take it in 3 tight ones. Stephan 11-10-2010, 05:43 AM David in 1 ;) :) allpro 11-10-2010, 05:46 AM 6-3, 6-3 muggay. Clydey 11-10-2010, 06:27 AM Murray probably, but he wouldn't ever beat A game Nalbandian. I'm a huge Nalby fan, but give me a break, mate. H2H is 2-1 in Bandy's favor  what are you talking about? Björki 11-10-2010, 10:34 AM I hope Daveeeed Sham Kay 11-10-2010, 11:50 AM LOL of course he is, stop deluding yourself. Just look and listen to him. An example of a god-awful hater. I really like Nalby, even though I consider him fat and ugly. It's all about the tennis afterall. It's not a beauty or personality contest, even though there's nothing wrong with how Murray looks if I'm honest. Anyway, Murray in 3 tight ones. He ain't goin very far this week, that's for sure. If Nalby doesnt dump him out here, he'll probably lose next round. tennishero 11-10-2010, 12:10 PM An example of a god-awful hater. I really like Nalby, even though I consider him fat and ugly. Wrong, I am a realist, do you really think Murray is good looking, doesn't push, is good at interviews? the bias in this thread is laughable. tennishero 11-10-2010, 12:12 PM I'm a huge Nalby fan, but give me a break, mate. i'll give you some glasses instead  rocketassist 11-10-2010, 12:47 PM I'm a huge Nalby fan, but give me a break, mate. No, it's true, and it applies also to Nadal and Djokovic. Clydey 11-10-2010, 01:42 PM No, it's true, and it applies also to Nadal and Djokovic. It applies to Nadal, but I certainly wouldn't be so quick to make such bold statements about the other two. MalwareDie 11-10-2010, 03:09 PM It applies to Nadal, but I certainly wouldn't be so quick to make such bold statements about the other two. Agree. There is no indication that Nalbandian would dominate Murray and Djokovic when they play at their best. Murray has demonstrated that he is a match for Nalbandian when he plays well. Nalbandian regularly loses to Djokovic and his only win was not an indication that he could routinely beat Djokovic when they both play at the best of their ability. nalbyfan 11-10-2010, 03:30 PM Murray is N°4, Djok N°3...David is N°26, so it's perfectly normal for him to lose to those guys...ATP ranking means something | |
