This is the only match from round 2 which I am looking forward to. So far the tournament has been very boring, no exciting matches, no emotions at all. Hopefully those two produce a really good match. I think Andy will win but if Bandy takes it I won't be disappointed.

No, it doesn't. Despite being a fan of David I don't think he stands a chance, since his comeback he's been making many more UEs, and there's no way you're gonna beat Murray like this.

Anyone's guess which Murray turns up. Surely atm his eye his firmly on London though, I don't think he'll have overmuch ambition this week until/if he reaches the semis.

This is different from their Canada meeting though, Nalby won't have to hit anywhere near as many shots to win a rally. Fewer shots = fewer UEs.

Paris two years ago was also hard to assess. Murray had won cinci, then went to US Open final, then a gap. Then won Madrid and St Pete's back to back, so went into Paris with not too much in the tank.


Could be a great match to watch either way.

Why trying to explain things when evidently they produce no effect? According to this poster, saying "I hope Nalbandian wins" is a statement only a hater could make. Agree. There is no indication that Nalbandian would dominate Murray and Djokovic when they play at their best. Murray has demonstrated that he is a match for Nalbandian when he plays well. Nalbandian regularly loses to Djokovic and his only win was not an indication that he could routinely beat Djokovic when they both play at the best of their ability.

Murray is N°4, Djok N°3...David is N°26, so it's perfectly normal for him to lose to those guys...ATP ranking means something
