You always deliver. Sapeod 11-02-2010, 08:24 PM Poor Albert always seems to get Soderling.... AgnRus 11-02-2010, 08:44 PM http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/Soderling/112.jpg well played , Robin! :) Certinfy 11-02-2010, 08:48 PM  Impressive stats Robin! :worship: samanosuke 11-02-2010, 08:48 PM where they now all those clowns who were shitting about monthy's greatness just few days ago ? this guy will be routinized from every decent indoor player including Marin Cilic personally Orka_n 11-02-2010, 08:49 PM High number of aces for Soda, and he kept his unforced errors low. In other words, Robin's game was working smoothly. Gimeno-Traver is next. Shouldn't be a problem if he plays like this. ApproachShot 11-02-2010, 08:49 PM Soderling just too dominant on serve. 14 aces, 93% first serve points won and 60% second serve points won tells the whole story. Winners to unforced errors ratio is very good too. Seingeist 11-02-2010, 08:56 PM Here's hoping that he puts up a better showing than he did in Stockholm. Corey Feldman 11-02-2010, 08:58 PM Sod probably lose in QF here as well finishingmove 11-02-2010, 09:00 PM soderling vanquishes his nemesis again Filo V. 11-02-2010, 09:01 PM Montanes had his one break point in the match, in the final game. But outside of that small blip, the stats speak for themselves. Domination from serve, lots of winners, kept the errors down, whereas Montanes had a bit more errors than usual for him. Albert can usually give Robin some tough matches, but ultimately Robin's power is just too much for the Spaniard. If he continues in that form, he's going to be a terror for anyone to play. henke007 11-02-2010, 09:23 PM Robin must be so happy Mugro is gone but offcourse tricky opponent in Traver and pressure as the favorite. Ryderstedt took out DGT in Sthlm so Robin better not do worse :) Sonja1989 11-02-2010, 09:56 PM Montanes was unlucky with his draw. djokovicgonzalez 11-03-2010, 01:53 AM fucking always draws soderling .-Federers_Mate-. 11-03-2010, 02:01 AM Big win for toad over a monster indoors in Montanes. Really impressive  Hope he gets to play Murray later in the week, its a rare matchup imo, and would be good to watch. Soderling is a shadow of the player we saw in 2009 .-Federers_Mate-. 11-03-2010, 02:02 AM Montanes was unlucky with his draw. No. He would have been unlucky to get Murray. The way Sod is playing atm, this is the best time to play him and get a win over a top 5 player. henke007 11-03-2010, 05:27 AM No. He would have been unlucky to get Murray. He has no conviction, isnt nearly as clinical or clutch as he used to be etc. He is in a poor rut of form. Anyone who denies that isnt watching tennis or is just plain stupid. Anyone who denies that isnt watching tennis or is just plain stupid.Once again you show off your remarkable lack of knowledge. I find his form of late very, very similar to that of 2009 Soderling. The results are about the same too. He's won 1 title in each year (though reaching more finals this year). He's peaked at the slams but done nothing remarkable at the masters 1000s... exactly the same as last year. Soderling of late 2009 was never "clinical" or "clutch". He lost to Lopez in shanghai and Djokovic in Paris. He qualified for the WTF because Roddick pulled out and there he played well. He beat Nadal and Nole in straights but then lost 2 close matches and was out of the tournament. Get a clue. No. Montanes would have been unlucky to get Murray. The way Sod is playing atm, this is the best time to play him and get a win over a top 5 player. You're such a clown. Albert had 31 possible match-ups in round 1. Even if drawing Murray would have been even harder for Albert, I suspect Monty would rather have faced any of the remaining 29 guys instead of Soderling. | |
