He beats Tursunov 64 36 11 RET

No idea why Tursunov retired.

Until today Andujar hadn't won a hardcourt match at ATP or Challenger level in his entire career :help:

Until today:

ATP level: Hard: 0-5
Challenger level: Hard: 0-2
ITF / Futures: 2-2

It probably needed a retirement, frankly :o

I guess i really don't need that right calf. MRI tomorrow to see if I need to replace it or I can remove it altogether...

:sad::sad:

But even in adversity Dima's gotta laugh:lol::worship:

If people here had this guys sense of humour...dare I say it the Mods(like your good self) would have a pleasant life even in this part of the Forum! You can quote me on that any time:lol:

Well Dima has been playing better, unfortunately an opportunity for an easy win and points fell by the wayside here. Hopefully his calf gets better but I'm guessing he'll just rest and get ready for next year. I'm sure he'll be back in the top 50 by this time next season.

Obviously any win for Andujar on anything outside of slow clay is an achievement for him, and he can continue his tournament in Spain in front of the home country fans.
