Strip Dubai and Queens and we are good!

Maybe Dubai but Queen's prepares Rafa for Wimbledon

Leave February alone.. he don't need that

4 Slams, 9 Masters 1000 events (TO BE READY FOR THEM,NOT LIKE THIS SHANGHAI), Doha, Barcelona, Queens (he allready said that he will be there, and every time that happen he played in Wimbledon final - Queens ia a unique and great torunament), Tokio, WTF... go home and prepare for Australian Open 2012

LEVAE BLOODY BANGKOK IN HELL

I'm done second-guessing Rafa. I really didn't want him to play the Asian fall swing but now I'm so glad he went even though he wasn't successful in Shanghai. Seeing how fans were so thrilled to see Rafa made it worth it.

Any news on Rafa's 2011 schedule? Federer's is already out.

I think it will be everything in the opening post, minus Barcelona. That clay court schedule seemed to work well for him this year.

No!! Rafa will play his beloved Barcelona, that is confirmed.. and I really hate that Madrid tournament and will be very happy with titles in Monte Carlo and Barca, week of rest, and after not playing in Madrid to take crowns at Rome and French Open

Whatever your thoughts about the Madrid tournament, it would be a pity if the home fans didn't get to see him defend his title there. So in my opinion it's not a question of Barcelona vs. Madrid...it's more of a question of whether to play both or only the Masters 1000 tournament. Because let's face it, even though the court and altitude in Madrid may not be perfect for him, he is still likely to steamroll all of his opponents.

Its far from perfect for him in Madrid.. as a Spanish best tennis player in history (and will be for good) don't think he owns them anything. He will play Barca for sure and I really looking forward to 6th title in that great tournament. After that I really don't care what he will do in bloody Madrid,I want titles in Monte Carlo, Barca, Rome and French Open

But that is still far to go,Rafa just need's 4 tournaments before clay. Anything more then Doha, Melbourne, Indian Wells and Miami will be big mistake

Agreed, so I'm glad not to see Rotterdam on the list. But I think he will still play Dubai where the top players are being offered a lot of $$$ (not that he is playing for the money - more to keep fans and sponsors happy, I guess). Also his participation in DC is ok if he feels up for it (especially if it is in Spain on clay) but would not be surprised if he opts to skip the first round again.

Davis Cup, Bangkok, Dubai, and any other possibilities for Rafa to become more tired or injured are NOT good for him as of now. He is a tip top player in his prime and needs to be fresh for every tournament he cares about. These useless tournaments only slow him down and decrease is chances for CYGS

Why do I have a feeling he will include Dubai again this year?

If he wins AO, I think he'll pull out.

There will be a time in the future to play small events to collect more trophies. Now it is all about slams and masters. Playing any other tournament is unnecessary at the moment :D

It would have been perfect if he didn't include Barcelona. I hope he pulls out. :D
