you've only 21 names on your MD list . I think you forgot Bozoljac between Dimitrov and Fisher. According their website Malisse is also coming back. We can notice that this challenger will hav ethe hawk-eye this year.

just a question Concerning Dancevic, he's in the MD here using his PR, however he has made the semis of Rennes, could he get entry here now witha SE and save his PR for another tournament, or does he have to use the PR now that he's got DE using that?

willoughby

one SE was dropped. I think the other one will be for Gicquel

156mphserve
10-15-2010, 11:19 PM
so they dropped the other SE because nobody qualified for it? In other words, Frank didn't qualify for it because he was already in using his PR?

willoughby
10-15-2010, 11:26 PM
yes, Dancevic couldn't be an special exempt because he was already using his PR, so the SE spot was dropped because of that.

Grigor actually should beat Lacko, misty. With the form Lacko is in, and the fact that Grigor has a big serve and more weapons, that should be a good match-up, as long as he returns well.

Marc has a GREAT draw and needs to take advantage. He's the favorite to make the SF from that section. If he wins this week and does well here he's gonna be closer and closer to the top 100.

Mika has a pretty good draw but I don't expect much from him, because I don't expect him to be magically healthy come Wednesday. Bjorn/ERV should be the SF from that section, hopefully Bjorn can make it through and solidify a top 100 position.

Darcis has a good draw and I think will make the SF at least if not the final. This is his opportunity to finally make the top 100.

The last quarter is by far the toughest. A lot of good names, and several favorites. Hard to predict a winner in that section, could be any of those players outside of the qualifier and Rosol I can see all of them making it through.

I predict a Darcis v Malisse/Gicquel final. GL to all of my favorites!

On the upper side of the draw Llodra shouldn`t have many troubles to reach 1/4 where he may find some opposition on Roger Vasselin but his tennis is above of this level so he shouldn`t have real troubles to be one of the semifinalists.

Interesting 1st round match between Lacko and Dimitrov. This is a good test for the Bulgarian as Lacko has not been playing well lately. That potential 2nd round match between Fischer and the winner of Lacko/Dimitrov would be really interesting to watch too. Darcis should be the other quarterfinalist. Hard to predict a SF on this 2nd quarter of the draw.

On the bottom half of the draw Dancevic and Brown have similar chances but I bet my 50 cents for Dancevic. I don`t think that Gicquel can keep his level for a 3rd week in a row and Reister is a good player on clay but not so good on hard courts so my bet to be one of the SF goes for Dancevic or Robert.

Mannarino has good chances to be one of the 1/4 and may find a tough 2nd round rival on Karol Beck. Malisse shouldn`t have troubles to be the other player to reach the 1/4. In normal circunstances the winner of Malisse-Mannarino should be the last semifinalist.

Really good draw here.

It's questionable whether Robert was hurt or he just sucks, because his recent results have been so poor that it's not any real surprise he struggles to win any match. If only Marc would have won yesterday, he would have a bye to the quarters at least. Hopefully there is some report on if Robert was hurt.

Anyway, Nicolas has an amazing opportunity at making the final, he needs to take it.

Top half of the draw is better on paper, Grigor should win his match, and one would assume Llodra should win his match, setting up a great SF match. Good luck to Bjorn, though!

Gigor has the chance to demonstrate that he can play well at ATP level.:)

He can't or he gonna play at ATP level players like before Vanek and Bogdanović.

Llodra look like he's mentally retarded against this smart and in-shape Dimitrov
He must try something new and i see he didn't realize yet that he doesn't stand a chance against Dimitrov from the baseline

Great results today, amazing final tomorrow. I'm rooting for Mahut because, this is in France, this is his best opportunity at getting back to the top 100, and he needs this more. However, if Grigor wins, he'll be right around 100 in the rankings, so this is a crucial match. I can't call it, both will be on fire, Nico definitely has more gas in the tank and that may be enough.

Incredible Grigor !!!
Yesterday I was sure, that his not very good play in the QF is just a matter of a bad day, and today Grigor Dimitrov proved this suggestion!!!
I think that this final is enough for him to be in the MD of AO, but I'm sure, that Grigor is aiming TOP100 at the end of the year!!!

Grisho needs to serve amazingly as today, and hope for a chance in the TB. Mahut is unbreakable and Grisho, despite some fantastic returns today (2 for winning the match), has much to improve on returns, especially on BH.
