Rafa is more likely to win 3 GS in 2011 than none at all

A popular betting site has following odds for Rafa's 2011 GS titles:

None: 6.50
One: 3.00
Two: 2.75
Three: 4.50
Four: 15.00

Do you guys agree with these odds? I am not sure if I do. Especially - why is he so likely to win 3 Slams but not 4?

Probably because winning 2 slams on his least favorite surface would be too difficult? I dunno. I'd be really happy if he won RG+W next year.

I agree with you in part - I think that winning even one out of AO or USO would be a tough call.

I second this. I doubt he can top this year. Which has simply been amazing. I would be happy if he ended up winning two slams next year though, like RG and Wimbly.

He'll win 2 IMO.

After what happened in 2009 post Nadal's going to dominate claims the idea Nadal ends up with 0 next year is far from unbelieveable if he plays out this season and targets Aus big time again.

If he's just focused on being Humbalito he should win RG/Wimbledon again.

Depends on his schedule through the indoor season.

I suppose Nadal will give everything to win Australian Open to gain informal Grand Slam.

you could say the same thing 4 years ago.

While true, this does not say much, if anything at all. His chance of winning 3 are extremely slim, but not winning RG is an even slimmer chance

you neber know what next year will bring.

No one could foresee monoFed or that Rafa would miss so much of the year because of his knees last year. Things happen and a year is a long long time in tennis.

Wasn't it Becker who said that Tennis Years were like Dog Years? So true.

How many grand slams Nadal gets next year will depend on the draw to some extent on the hard court GSs. If he gets big serving big flat hitting forehand types, he could be in trouble. If he gets Murray in his half, then he could be in trouble. If he gets his Spanish mates, the likes of Youzney, he'll be in with an excellent chance of more glory.

I expect Nadal to win the FO. And to be favourite for Wimbledon, but it'll be closer.

2 seems to be the best bet.

I hope Nadal focuses on another Channel Slam.

Forget about AO, you already won it, it's a jinxing slam for whoever wins it for the rest of the season(Nole in 2008, Rafa in 2009, Fed in 2010) and it is the least prestigious of the slams...:wavey:
