2008 he was thrashed by Rafa in the FO F, he won it in 2009, 2008 he lost a heartbreaking Wimby F, he wame back to win again in 2009, he lost the 2009 AO F in a close one, he stormed back to win it in 2010, so I honestly think in 2011 he'll at least win the USO. He seems to come back the next year and win it.

Does this mean Nadal won't play in 2011?

i wouldnt count on it, i think its time for fedfans to find another favorite player because feds decline is undeniable at this stage

Remember that period in 2009 when tennis was great? Rafa was out, Fed wasn't in total domination mode, and it was just some nice even competition. Those were the days.

duh...no question about it. The tour will be on hard courts until May. So sure he will strike again. He will be the favorite for AO 2011 anyway. Defending champion and all.

I'm sorry for those who think that Nadal will dominate tennis for long years like Federer did. He's health clock is ticking, moment of blow is coming.

Federer has some chances to win one, maybe two slams, but nothing more. There are lots of factors, independent of him.

Well, good luck trying to find another slam for Federer, and good luck praying for Rafa's tendonitis treatment suddenly failing him. If Rafa wins the Australian Open we are talking about 6 straight slam wins if he takes care of business at Roland Garros and Wimbledon too. Winning 6 straight would put Rafa in a class of his own. And we've seen what he can do at the US Open now. No limits.

I've heard this shit after AO 09.
And look , what happened? He was mopped by Soderling on his own ground, withdrawn from Wimbledon and I saw the best humiliation of my life during USO semis.
