Is Nadal the only player ever to beat the BEST PLAYER in his first 6 slam titles?

Nadal beat Federer in his first 6 slam titles. Anyone else had quality opposition like that? Agassi only beat Sampras twice (both at Australian Open, in Final 95 and Semi 2000) in his 8 slams, for example (and I think those 2 meetings were in his first 6 slams).

I suspect Nadal has the highest opposition of all-time for his first 6 slams. He was due for a couple of lesser opponents in Soderling and Berdych. Now Djokovic the 3rd seed.

Why, it is very important who you play in slams, makes a big difference not just because of talent level of opponent but its the 1st-time slam finalists who play nervous and make it so easy. Play established player and its always harder.

That's cool, don't mind that at all, Nadal beat him in 2008 Wimbledon and also they should meet at 2011 Wimbledon Final.

Nadal is always lucky when he faces Federer in the final, because he always gets mug draws up until the final whereas Federer has to take on opponents he struggles against such as Roddick, Hewitt and Davydenko, meaning he has nothing left for the finals.

It's a conspiracy the ATP, ITF and Toni Nadal have been working together on since before Nadal turned pro. I'd have thought that much was obvious.

Nadal beat Murray at 2008 Wimbledon, and had a murderously difficult 2009 Australian Open Semi-Final vs Verdasco.

It was considered the highest standard match of the Australian Open. Higher standard than the Final according to those who saw it including myself.

Too true, every Nadal slam is worth two of Sampras' and at least three of Agassi's.

Not saying that, but I'm bringing up the quality of his final opponents because people say he has cakewalk draws, when in fact he's had the toughest slam finals over anyone in history if you believe Federer is GOAT. Plus he always seems to get Murray in his half in the non-clay slams.

Actually, if you look at it from a different way, Nadal had it easy in most of his GS finals. Most of the time he was facing a guy that matches up badly against his game. He didn't need any great or elaborate strategy because of this, just use the match up advantage and win. No great hurdle, no brilliant strategy, just pound that one handed BH with lefty topspin FH. That's it. Simple.
