If Nadal wins in 3 sets tomorrow...

he has had a better year than federer ever had imo. Would be one hell of an achievement to win the US Open without dropping a set including 3 consecutive slams.

3 consecutives slams on 3 different surfaces, achieving Career Golden Slam.

It would be the best year for a tennis player since 1969.

You are all trolls. Nadal has yet to face a decent opponent and has reached the final. Seriously. Get over yourself people. Rafa will be better than Roger when he matches his grand slam titles. Next

LOL. Roger had years when he won 11 tournaments, and 3 slams, with a 82-3 record, or something like that? Nadal has 5 trophy this year. :D You cannot be serious. :D

We are talking about a year of tennis not about Nadal being better than Federer.

He will have had a good, EASY UO. IMO. And he should hit his knees and thank God. This is not his best surface and he would be out of here and he had faced any real competition. My opinion.

No one complains about Fed's FO.. Except the Nadaltards of course.. But Nadal had a tough draw at Wimby.. it's just the luck of the draw sometimes..

Nobody has never won 3 consecutives GS on 3 different surfaces. Period.
If Nadal achieves this tomorrow, his year will be outstanding.

How so? Three slams+one final clearly tops his year

He's already won, USO schedulers made sure of that. Only even remote chance Nadal has to earn his trophy is if the final gets rained out and Nole has enough rest to actually play.

Fed's 2006 would still be better unless Rafa goes on an end of season tear.

It aint far though.

If Nadal wins in 3 sets tomorrow it just proves how stupid the USO scheduling is.

You don't say? See, I'm so naive that I thought winning was about beating the 7 guys who stand on the other side of the net... and whom you don't get to choose...

As for the timing, I'd bet a million bucks you wouldn't be complaining if it had been the other way around... just like I didn't hear you say anything about the fact that Rafa had less rest between the QF and SF than the other two guys...

Its clear that you dont like Nadal. So keep away from any thread that has his name. As if federer won all the titles by defeating decent players.

It won't mean nothing. It ain't like it would be the first time it's every happened! :retard:

It's really amazing Nole and Rafa made it to the final in the first place.

As far as Roger.. c'mon people it's not like he's never had his time in the sun... Hell.. he nearly made it to another final again at age 29.

Do you all think Rafa... as much as I like the guy... is gonna be able to make it to a grand slam semi-final at age 29? Do you all really think Rafito will be competitive at age 29? Do you all think Nole is gonna be competitive at age 29?????????????

Sooo... it's just Nole's time. It might be Rafa's time, too... to make history. But that doesn't mean close to age 30 Rafa is still gonna be as competitive as Roger.

C'mon ya'll. Roger is GOAT...until.. proven otherwise no matter what happens Sunday...

Nadal is losing to Nole.

Pretty obvious.

Rafa has not beaten Nole on HC since the ice age.:o

Nole wins without a doubt.

Rafa is a HC mug.

Who'll play better than Nadal at age 29?
Querrey, Isner, Gulbis, Roddick?
None of the other older & younger players did much at age 18 or 23.
If Roddick had a brain, Federer would have half the Slam count.
No one else except Safin won a Slam & Masters title in 2004 & 2005.
