Just insane tempo during the rallies at times. Some ridiculious angles, shots. Novak won very deservedly, great and courageous play. But I think Rafa will win tomorrow.

Federer played poorly, but his poor tennis is better than most players' best. It's the problem he has after having played beautifully for so long. He just seems ordinary now.

Novak played good tennis. He beat on Federer when he had to do it, and broke him when it really counted. I was impressed. I didn't think he had anything left.

Hell yes!!! Djokovic showed incredible heart coming through those two match points and ending up winning the match. Incredible play in that final set. Djokovic's forehands were scary towards the end of that match. I'm giddy at that result! :D The Djokovic of 07/08 is BACK!!!

Don't sell Federer short, he played a great match with some great tennis. This match could ahve gone either way tbh. So glad Nole won though, we know that we're gonna get a US Champion who's never won before! Awesome.

Great fight by Novak. Hopefully even if he loses tomorrow, he reverts to being a big challenger for slam events from now on. Rogi is incredible. Even when he isn't playing his best, it's so damn hard to beat him.

Also, big props again to Roger. The reason he plays so many more 5 setters these days is because he has a lot more bad days than he used to. And still he's so freaking tough to beat. This man has a lot of heart and he showed it out there again today. Absolutely no shame in losing to a great up and coming player who played fantastically on the day.

Yeah, Djokovic showed a lot of guts, especially towards the end of the fifth set. Federer, on the other hand, pushed the ball back when returning serve. The same is true after Federer took the lead in the first and third sets. Federer should have pressed on, but collapsed. Djokovic was there to pick up the pieces. For stepping it up when it mattered, Djokovic deserved the victory.

I can't understand what the fuck's wrong with him. I mean you can explain the poor serving thinking he had a stiff back or some other minor problem before the match, but the way he played those 2 mp was attrocious. He had 2 weak 2nd serves to aim at, and he just sliced the ball back in play no presseure what so ever on Djokovic who just kept on attaking. The same thing happened at 30-40 in the last game.
It's the third time this year he has lost from match points up.

Fed was second-fiddle to Roger tonight as Nole cashed in on all the big points when he needed to:worship:...very exciting and great shot-making in the last set...spellbounding till the very end:boxing:...Nole deserved this win....too many loose errors on Fed's side over 50 some errors:eek:....can't advance against the world's #1 with those stats!:help:
