I second this. It really would be amazing.

Oh, and I have to add that I hope I don't jinx him with this, lol.

No one has done this for a very long time. Who was the last player to achieve this feat?

Now, I have to say that Nadal is greater than Borg -- even though that breaks my heart a little bit.

WOOOOO!!!!! All Hail GOAT RAFA!!!

Also, Nadal has now won at least 2 Slams on every surface. Sampras never achieved that. Neither did Agassi, Borg or Federer. Another piece of history.

Yes! This Nadal is incredible! I am noticing that majority of MTFers have gone into hibernation - not that I blame them.

The Commentator said that there was this other guy who won on 3 different Surface.

ys, what happened with that theory of yours about lefties being limited and not able to handle the power of the modern game?

How many times does it have to be reminded that Nadal is a natural right-hander? Moya attests to that theory too.. :)

That one was my personal favorite.

Nadal must hit like 80% of his strokes without the help of his right hand, though

More importantly, very good chance he'll become first player to win 4 in a row since Laver.

I don't think it has ever happened. remember, USO was played on grass until 75, then on clay (11) for a couple of years, only became HC in 78 (and AO in the 80s). So players from older times didn't have the chance.

If it will be 4, chances are, it will be 6. As I said, him with that serve at Wimbledon ( which he lately owns even without that serve ) is a scary proposition.

Somebody else will probably win AO. Fed or Djokovic. Just sayin'.

That is very well possible. It is tennis. But if Nadal is healthy, I would not bet against him there.

Pretty amazing feat if you step back and think about it. No matter how much you believe the surfaces have been changed, those three slams do require a player to develop and emphasize different aspects of his game; design amended game plans; and execute them up to and during big points in big matches.

This may seem obvious and doable for any skilled multiple-slam champion. But that hasn't been the case at all

I dont dispute Nadal is currently the best player in the world. Just that picture is a tadddd annoying in a dozen threads.
